ccconn
After fitting the wide track kit, I appear to have forgotten the spacer that fits on the lower wishbone between the spherical joint and upright. I can see how that would change things a little but how critical is it and if it does need fitting has anyone any wise ideas about how I can do without stripping everything down GGrrrrr Chris
mic
Its only the wheel and one nut to remove each side. Edited by - mic on 30 Dec 2012 09:10:
ccconn
surely you need to undo the TRE? as well?
Shad
No you just need to be able to lift the upright out of the spherical joint so that you can get the spacer in there again. The track rod end will have enough slack/movement to allow for this. But if not, hey that's only two nuts in total so not really the end of the world
Area Representative Richard Price Posted December 30, 2012 Area Representative Share Posted December 30, 2012 It may be a bit of a fight without loosening the upper wishbone fixings, and with the ARB still in place. I'd remove the ARB at the least.
