Smegnoguk
Bridgestone or Continental tyres for my son'r Civic Type R are £140 + VAT. Tyre fitter in Munster Road, Fulham has recommended Kenda tyres for £80 + VAT. Can I trust a tyre that costs £80?
Stationary M25 Traveller
See reviews here When you Google Kenda tyres - it is mainly pushbike tyres. They seem to have been making car tyres for a long time, but I don't think I would fit them on my car. Civic Type R is not a slow car !!
Smegnoguk
That's my feeling. Have decided to go for the Bridgestone at Sheen Tyres £148 including VAT. Thanks for your help.
tbird
Have you looked at Maxxis Tyres, usually a good price, well respected in Bike world and I have been running MAZ1-Victras on the v8 Quattro for a couple of years, after they were recommended by my favourite Tyre fitter, and cannot fault them Tim
Smegnoguk
OMG! Kwick-fit wanted £229 for the same tyre!
Stationary M25 Traveller
Did you try the on-line suppliers like Blackcircles, etyres, camskill, mytyres, etc ? Some give L7C discount too
peterg
Vredestein Sportrac3 are a really good tyre and usually available at an affordable price from the likes of Event/Blackcircles etc
john g
I use Bridgestones on my FN2 Type R. If you want a cheaper tyre some guys on the Type R forums go for a Falken something or other. Only draw back is the wear rate. You pays your money.........
