Q Catcher
Having read so much about the Caterham Click over the years, it's probably time I bought a spare solenoid. Does anyone know the best place to get one? (If it makes any difference, my car's a 2002 1.8 VVC.) Thanks

Johnty Lyons
If you read all about the K Click i'll think you'll find that a spare solenoid is not going to stand you much good. The problem is a bit more complex than that.
Jason Plato
it's strange that I had k click on the k series, I carried over all the wiring to my duratec ..... not a problem
Johnty Lyons
Dave I know feck all about anything but isnt the starter and exhaust on different sides on your car and if so could heat be a contributing factor.
Jason Plato
starter starter is on the same side as the k series (nearside) but the exhaust is on drivers side.
Q Catcher
Thanks, Titanium and Tony, for the supplier suggestions.
Q Catcher
Thanks, Johnty, for the hints. I've seen the stuff about wiring and relays, so have already got a spare relay; and my existing solenoid has got a heat shield round it; but I thought it would be a good idea to be fully prepared.
