Roger Ford
I've looked, but there are no care instructions. Reckon I could put it in the washing machine? It's pretty filthy with 7 years of use, a load of gearbox oil (not mine!) spilled on it a while ago, and lots of paint dust from when I resprayed some parts recently. Or should I give it a gentle scrub with washing up liquid and water, then treat it with Bumper Care?
Stationary M25 Traveller
Is it the vinyl one ? I just use bumper and vinyl cleaner from Mer or AutoGlym. Sugar Soap and wash off with warm water beforehand if grubby.

prangerman
Back to Black applied with a nail brush - 10-15 mins work at most. The gloss effect disappears after a while to leave a clean cover. Peter
Roger Ford
Put it in the washing machine on minimum settings - came out looking much like it went it ☹️. Will try some bumper care or back-to-black. Gearbox oil was due to it being taken back to McMillan after a race meeting on their double-deck trailer, and the car on top leaked gearbox oil onto it. Sinbad
I have used Renovo vinyl cleaner and ultra proofer on boot cover and sidescreens. Restores the appearance of the vinyl without leaving a glossy sheen.
