Silver Caterham with red stripe over the Clent hills. I was in the yellow Roadsport in front of you. Great day for a blat!
  2. Hi Stridey, Thanks for the confirmation of the parts required and the additional info and photos. I have a liking for shiny, chrome or polished alloy parts on my seven and have tried the bullet shaped tripod mounted mirrors, but these were fitted with flat glasses and the field of view from them was next to useless. I really like the mirrors you have fitted and am persuaded that they will work well on my seven. Thanks once again for taking the time to post your method of fitting them - appreciated. - Paul
  3. Hi Stridey, Thanks for your post regarding the KiWav mirrors and the modifications that you made in order to fit them which i found very helpful. I have been looking for some nice chrome mirrors for my seven for a while now and these seem just the job. May I ask which specific pattern of KiWav mirror you got as they seem to have a wide selection available on Ebay. I saw some labeled as "KiWAV Classic MX chrome rearview mirrors CNC convex M8 x1.25 scooter moped atv" were these the ones you purchased? Also, am I correct in thinking that the inline joints from SGS Engineering that you refer to were shown as "Axial/Inline M8 Ball Stud To Fit M8 Thread" on their web site? Thanks for the info - the mirrors look great on your seven. - Paul
  4. Hi Jonathan, OK that's great. Thanks for your help. - Paul
  5. Does anyone know what torque settings the wheel nuts on a 2009, Sigma 125, Roadsport with the standard steel wheels should be adjusted to? Thanks for any help. - Paul
  6. Lime green / black Caterham drove past the "Queens Head" pub at Wolverley near Kidderminster at around 12.30. I was sat outside drinking a coffee. Superb blatting weather.
  7. Red and Black Seven, two up, just past the Lock Inn at Wolverley, Kidderminster at about 1.30 this afternoon. I waved to you from the yellow Roadsport traveling in the opposite direction. Lovely afternoon for a blat.

Thanks for the suggestion Roadsport06. I actually live fairly close to Russ and meet up with him once a month. He has someone who does his servicing, but again it's a bit further a field than I would like to go. I should be seeing Russ this week so I will discuss it further with him then.

Hi John, Yes, I did consider this, but Caterham Midlands was already far enough away from where I live (Halesowen) so I think I will have a dabble with the DIY servicing and consider Nick if I run into trouble or for more problematic items such as a cambelt change.

Hi Jonathan, Thanks for your reply. The links you have referenced look very useful. I have a garage and a few tools, and looking to purchase a trolley jack, axle stands and a torque wrench to begin with. I haven't got an assembly guide so that would be useful. I would be particularly interested in things like torque wrench settings for wheel nuts and spark plugs for my specific vehicle.
