Dignity
Hi All, I was just wondering how to tell what diff ratio is in my car? It's a 6 speed Supersport k 1998. Regards Dignity
LawrenceR
I would guess it will be a 3.62 but it may be 3.92 down load GearCalc and enter in your tyre size etc. and you should be able to work it out Thumbs Edited by - Thumbs on 9 Dec 2010 17:10:

Dignity
Nice one Thumbs That looks like a useful tool. I should be able to find out as soon as the snow/salt clears. Hi Andrew. Its a long list Regards Dignity
Mankee
I could be talking total rubbish here, but you could try the following: stick it in 6th (as it's a 1:1 ratio) and then rotate the crank pulley one full revolution and count how many times the rear wheels revolve and that should give you the diff ratio. Closer to 3.5 turns then ratio is 3.62 and almost 4 turns then 3.92. Or you could try the GearCalc method. 😬
elie boone
Or just look at the metal plat on one of the higher bolts of the diff cover.
