Dee Pee
Who knows of a good reliable crossflow engine man in the Midlands? Have a possible piston problem with mine and need diagnosis and a solution. BC always knows someone!
Area Representative gileshudson Posted July 18, 2010 Area Representative Share Posted July 18, 2010 You could always try Andy Mac at McMillan Motorsport in Hinckley, the people that used to maintain the X-Flow racers for Caterham race series. Area Representative RussG Posted July 18, 2010 Area Representative Share Posted July 18, 2010 Dee Pee, You could try Sports Car Services on the Stourbridge Road, Halesowen. Just around the corner from you. Tel 0121 550 5377. Ask for Mike Foster. He services my 7. I think he might be re-building a crossflow at present. Worth a try. Dee Pee
Thanks all for the contacts. I'm off to visit Sports Car Services shortly and then Aldon, as I live close to them both. Norfolk is a long way off in a Caterham but thanks for the contact anyway.

Dee Pee
Russ G. The crossflow 7 in Sports Car Services was a 'barnfind' according to Mike Foster. He says the new owner paid £500 for it - Yes £500! Bit of a bargain.
