swsambler
First post for me so sorry if there is an obvious answer. I have fired up my new build Roadsport 175 today for the first time. Clutch is fully bled and the engine runs a dream. However, the clutch will not disengage and so I cannot put the car in gear with the engine running. The car is up on axle stands and I have started it in 1st gear and the drive train runs fine, but the clutch still will not disengage to allow a change of gear. . I tried a touch of the brakes, but this just drops the rpm a bit. Any ideas 🤔 Rgds Simon
mic
Check the clutch pedal stop. Make sure you are getting enough movement on the clutch pedal.
swsambler
Fantastic. Problem solved, thank you. I slackened off the bulk head pedal stop then started the car on the axle stands in gear and then gently eased the clutch in and lo and behold the wheels stopped turning. Will now set up the stop properly. Many thanks.
