db
Mike, anyone ... I have a standard K-series immobiliser with the two button black key fob. The LED has just changed behaviour when I disarm it. Previously it would just turn off, now it fast double-flashes. The disarm works. Behaviour on arming is the same -- rapid flashes (about twenty) then settles to a 1Hz flash. Is there anything I need to know ...tick... ...tick... ...BOOM My ... Preciousss! myothercarsa2cv
Mine also did something odd - on disarming, the light just stayed on! A quick click of the disarm button and all was well. Have tried pressing it a couple of times? I suspect mine just got excited at being used for the first time in ages  John _________________________ myothercarsa2cv Bugsy: '82 2cv6 😬 Talloulah '08 1.6K Classic
db
I've cycled through armed and disarmed a few times. The light goes out after doing its double-flash thing for a bit. It wouldn't be so clever as telling me to replace the battery would it? Used it daily for 6 years My ... Preciousss! Ray Pearce
Mine did the double-flash thing. I changed the battery in the remote and it stopped doing it. Fairly sure its a low-battery warning.
Stationary M25 Traveller
CC owners handbook suggests battery replacement (CR2032) every three years to be safe ! The fast double-flashing is when the alarm is triggered/sounding (except we don't have a siren on a Seven).
Stuart McGill
I have this too.... although the light stays on BUT doesn't not stop it starting
Grubbster
Stuart - do you have an Emerald? If so then it isn't looking at the imobiliser - easy to fix. Otherwise i have no idea what it is doing! Solent Se7ens Web!
fastlady
Had the same thing with mine and it also stopped after I replaced the battery in the key fob, so I would certainly think that's worth a try in the first instance
