Chris B.
I need to replace my clutch in the next week or so, the synchro's have been week for a long time so i thought i would replace gearbox and clutch at the same time. Can any one recomend a supplier? I have thrown all my old Low flying mags away and this months carry only one ad for gear boxes{SPC) and they seem very cheap £200 +vat or is this normal price. From memory a set of synchro rings cost more than this. Regards Chris.
Wrightpayne
I think its been mentioned before that the advert isnt ideal. I think the price if for a couple of gears only - fitting is extra. Ian
Allen Payne
Speak to Phil at Road and Race transmissions, he knows quite a bit Caterham gearboxes/diffs and always seems to do good work. Myles
BGH. The cost will depend on both a) what spec you want to end up with in terms of ratios and/or 'duty' and b) what state your existing components are in. 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 Alcester Racing 7s Ecosse™ 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 Alcester-Racing-Sevens.com

RiF
Steve at SP Components, excellent service and quality. He has done wonders for me several times RiF Driving one of the first Duratec 7, and building CA07BON for Henrietta 😬 😬 😬.for pictures of 7 and carbon andCA07BON
peterg
Another vote for Road & Race Transmissions the exact address is 'The Bullock Shed' 😬 Phil is very accommodating (like opening up on a Saturday or letting you collect from his house on a Sunday...) and he's near enought for you to go there so no shipping to/from either
Tonycaterham
Another vote for R&R Phil is great, keeps you informed and let me drop stuff off at his home over the weekend. Has rebuilt both my gearbox and diff, very happy with both. Tony L7 EVL
Mick Day
Phil at R & R has done refurbs on my 6 speed 3 times in the last 12 years. Two rather minor refreshes & one time where he opened the box & shook out the shrapnel.............not a lot was left! He also fitted/sourced my LSD conversion. Great bloke & service..........
