  16. I presume its working correctly i would have thought you would have to bolt it down solid and have 50 psi or so to bend upper and lower tanks. The verticle tubes are usually wafer thin thats where i would expect problems to arrise first. the over flow/catch tank has water in it from time to time so cap must release at what pressure i dont know I dont know the history of the radiator so damage may of occured on day 1 in 1990 ! Regards Chris.
  17. Any one have radiator as above for sale.must be usable ie no leaks Sussex area. Regards Chris.
  18. Took my radiator in for repair yesterday for the third time, and have been informed it has been over pressurised, the top and bottom tanks do have a bow on them left to right. This causes any warranty to be void apparantly, allthough the tanks have allways been this shape. Two questions: how does a radiator over pressurise rad cap is not likely to jam? Does any one have crossflow/BD radiator for sale please Caterham ally one is quite different Regards Chris. Company will ring me tomorrow with cost of re core i think this might be mega money.

  21. Hi Guys I dont have master cut out switch, the alternator connections have been re made recently ( year ago) when i had a similar problem i wonder if corosion has got further into the alternator causing the problem i will look into that because the outside of the alternator has light corosion. Regards Chris.
  22. Hi Willie, Coil is on the cold side of the engine and has been replaced leaving the same 5k missfire im almost sure damp corosion is causing the problem because its been outside for so long. Regards Chris.
  23. Hi Richard, Thanks for the offer its back in the garage at the moment but its a bit like looking for a needle in a hay stack.thats why i wondered if there is a common damp/electrical problem Best Regards Chris.
