LazerBrain
Halfords have deals now & again - which are of course even better when you use the 10% club discount. cheers, Darren.
CageyH
Have a look at Opie oils, who advertise in Low Flying. Either that, or pop across the channel. Only dead fish go with the flow....

Dirty Den
Hi Phil - When did they start selling Mobil 1 in 5 litre containers? Presumably this is because most other oils are sold in 5 litre quantities? Cheers, Den http://www.dens7.co.uk
old captain slow
North Manchester is of course a bit of a problem re location, but Carre Four in France do ordinary Mobil 1 for a lot less then you can buy it over here. C7 CDW
Cookie Monster
Costco also do it(in 4ltrs) & I think it's £23 + VAT which I think is a bit cheaper if I have got the price right Phil.
Phil
Recently the 0w40 has come through in 5ltr containers and I believe the15w50 will follow shortly, have not had a chance to speak to the rep to confirm this. Oil is a lot cheaper in France and if you have chance, grab some as the 0w40 over there sells for around £15 to £20 If you have a X/flow the 15w50 will do but if you have a K or other engine the 0w40 will be a better buy anyway. Ian D Smith
I've bought my first caterham earlier this year and am interested in understanding how you get a 10% discount. I have taken my membership card in and been told they don't do it, I email Halfords Head office and they said the same ☹️ Ian Up and running
LazerBrain
Ian - from page 25 of the latest Low Flying mag... "tel: 08700 660511" Basically, they sell you gift vouchers at 10% off. You then take them into your local branch and buy stuff as normal. cheers, Darren.

lsb
Mobil 1 15-50 motorsport does come in 5 litre containers. I bought some at halfords last week for £ 36 odd, that included a 20 % discount they were running at the time.
