FIA roll bar

Thinking of replacing my original roll bar for an fia approved one for my short cockpit live axle seven.

Will my roof still fit?

I'm looking for a bar for a short cockpit live axle car too. I was told some time back that the roof will not fit with the FIA bar. I don't know if this is still the case.

I have a friend who owns a short cockpit car with an FIA bar, his roof still fits with no problems but it is a snug fit. His weather gear is the early type ("low-viz" if you like) so can't say it would easily fit for sure if you have high viz.

My hood does not fit over the FIA bar. But i think there is two diffrent hights of FIA bar so this could be why. i.E i have the tall one.

I've got a short cockpit Se7en (1979) and my hood fits over the FIA bar but the rear poppers are about 2 inches too short to do up.

Also the hood sticks don't fit over the bar so can't be used properly/
