  7. Hi all, My car is definitely still for sale, having had two buyers fail to complete due to their own issues from abroad. (Both buyers had difficulties groking €uro to £GBP for reasons I fail to grasp as the car is for sale in GBP.) Its just passed its MoT and is now taxed for 6-months (thru to October) and is a real bargain for someone wanting a higher spec well maintained car with solid provenance throughout its life. Just to remind all, the car was Caterham Factory Built as a special order due to the VHPD engine, the LSD, and the custom paint colour so now is the time to grab a cracking bargain! Pictures gladly supplied on request, I live off of the M40/J4 so connect me via BM if you'd like to buy. Thanks, Steve
  8. Thanks matey , it's a great very fast reliable SV someone's getting a great car when they buy it !

  13. POBC eyes needed, http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/shades_smile.png Some of you know I've been looking for a 1970-72 TR6 for a while now. I've spied what might be a very good one with FSH in Dorset. As I'm just west of London I'd like a local pair of eyes before driving down. If you're down that way, the car is http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/triumph/tr6/triumph-tr6-2-5-150bhp-with-overdrive/2273198 and I'd love your assistance if you're willing! Thanks,
  14. My 2002 factory built VHPD with 6spd, leather seats, LSD, big brakes, recently fully serviced by Simon in Bicester, all carbon arches and 2 sets of rims, 13"&14" and a number of other upgrades is about to be advertised. Drop me a BM if you're looking, I'm in Marlow just west of London on M40...
  15. My search is on to replace our 2002 SV which I'll be putting up for sale. I am located in Bucks but will travel across the UK for the right TR-6. Ideally, I am looking for a dark colour, or BRG coloured car, cream leather interior or black, full ownership/service history and in full running order. My price range is £14K - £18K all-in and I'd be using it for our second car. If the owner is interested in P/X for our 2002 SV I would be interested in that discussion too! Please BM if you know of such a car...
  16. I just noticed on my post that despite the error my Avatar picture has updated. Wow that's some POBC eh?
  17. If you delete the stock image, then save, then pick an image to upload and do a save, you get: "The specified file temporary://panicbutton.jpg could not be copied, because no file by that name exists. Please check that you supplied the correct filename." My guess is something's not quite right on the Profile page for uploads?

  21. Just cut it off, put two nice black caps over the ends, and carry 2 cans of Tyre Weld.
  22. If you cannot find suitable spring compressors, a pair of small ratcheting straps work very well. Make very sure to ratchet them equally and keep them at exact opposite to each other. Someone here suggested this and it works very well I must say
