  1. The list starts off in what appears to be alphabetical order, but then it all goes wrong as you scroll down:
  2. Does this indexing bug affect posts appearing in "Forum Posts" in one's profile? I'm not seeing recent posts in there at the moment (and search isn't picking them up either).
  3. Thursday 27th November 2014: Chief executive Graham MacDonald took the decision to close the technology and innovation centre today after it continued to mount “heavy losses”. The fate of the Hingham-based firm was shared with workers on Wednesday night, with 68 staff set to lose their jobs. More details here
  4. Have you tried Martyn coming to the AR meeting from Shropshire Area?
  5. does not match the aspect ratio of the image selection tool when editing the Area page. Suggest changing the aspect ratio of the tile images to match the selection tool?
  6. Yes, I've had one and a much better solution than the Carcoon. You may not be able to open the sidescreens fully once in the Airchamber, but the roll up side doors on the AC allow you to do so if needed. Sports car size is fine for an SV, just make sure it fits in your garage!
  7. Hi Steve, AR pages are currently still on the old system here (save that as a favourite for now ). I don't know why the AR facilities weren't migrated, but I understand it is the intention to do so (update from Shaun is due at the AR meeting ). I believe there is currently an issue with accessing club emails from crapple devices since a recent crapple update, and Barry is working on it. In the meantime, if that affects you, you can use webmail to access your Area Email address (your password can be found on the "email" tab in your "My Area"). I've been monitoring the use of email lists and noticed that you are one of the only Areas that haven't been using the "Mail my members" button, but presumably copying and pasting addresses into another app? We really need to encourage you to use the "button", so can you let me know what the problem is using it? (there may be a name and shame session at the ARs meeting ). Email me if you have any questions Ian
  8. Unfortunately "New and Updated" doesn't show all new and updated threads
  9. What does matter is we appear to have lost all the 7FAQ-Contribute info that had been gathered on the old site (or it may be that I can't find it as the new search facility isn't up to the job)
  10. If you can get it to Nick Chan (or another AR going to the ARs meeting on 22/11/14, then I can get it from there down to Phil
  11. Royal Mail is to nearly double the maximum size of its small parcel format ahead of the busy Christmas period, as well as running a price promotion ahead of the festive season. Article here May be of help if you're selling stuff on here http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/wink_smile.png
  12. 3rd October 2014. The order book for one of Caterham’s most extreme variants of the legendary Seven, the Superlight R500, has closed. Production of the final R500 – number 174 – finished at Dartford recently and is destined for Caterham’s distributor in Peru, South America, of all places. After accumulating blanket five-star reviews following its launch in 2008, the 2-litre, 263bhp firecracker, which is capable of reaching 60mph in just 2.88 seconds, later starred on Top Gear TV’s test track by setting a time of 1:17.9 – nearly half a second faster than the Bugatti Veyron – while also scooping its Car of the Year award in the same year. Despite the extreme nature of its performance and character, the R500 remains one of Caterham’s most popular models ever, attracting buyers from around the world. Its place in the garages of several celebrity customers confirmed its legendary status. As well as attracting recognition for its handling and performance, the Superlight R500 was replicated by model maker, Matchbox, and was produced as a remote control car by Marks & Spencer. It was also recreated for several computer games so that younger enthusiasts could experience the two-seater sportscar in the well-known white and orange striped livery, made famous by Top Gear’s The Stig. Caterham Group CEO, Graham Macdonald, said: “If Caterham wasn’t already firmly on the map as one of the world’s best-known British sportscar makers, the R500 certainly helped us to cement that position". “It was a landmark model for us in many respects; its performance on the road and track was matched by the impact it had on our brand. It brought new technologies to the Seven range and was the first production Caterham to adopt a sequential gearbox". “To some extent, it represented the start of a new era in which Caterham stepped into the 21st century, but it perfectly encapsulated Colin Chapman’s original ethos and harnessed our determination to provide accessible fun like no other.” The largest export markets for the R500 were Japan and Italy, followed by France and then Germany. In total, nearly 50 per cent of vehicles found homes overseas. Until 2013, when the supercharged Seven 620 R was launched, the R500 remained the fastest and most focussed Seven ever produced. The newer model provides an additional 47bhp as well as a multitude of other technical and aesthetic enhancements over the older model. 13. Still trying to prise it out of Terry's hands http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/omg_smile.png
  14. Don't think so Dave. Does this work: http://www.lotus7.club/area-meetings/kent-north And this "click here"
  15. Local Area sub-forums were on my spec list, initially so mambers could organise local blats/events/for sales/loans etc in their own Area without getting lost in the main forums. I wouldn't want it to detract from posting on Chitchat etc, so if it happens it would need to be on a trial basis I guess, as I can't see how you could regulate it to keep "regular" traffic on the main forums. Any ideas?
