I fitted 14" wheels with a deeper inset than the std caterham setting. i.e. the hub was towards the inside off the wheel.  However, it was much harder to get good wheel balance. Have gone back to the original KN MInators. May just reflect the quality of the wheels but they were also made by KN.

Hello Andrew. Pls can you tell me what diameter you are using across the wheel centre where the cap pushes on? I have 2 sizes of Minilite  - the Caterham originals wheel being slightly smaller and the cap is lower. Thanks.

I had this problem some years ago and it was the shaft in the distributor worn and causing misfire. Took a long time to find...replaced Disi and all was well.

What is the Goodyear tyre type please?

Ask Redline in Caterham to send you a kit - mine were cured of same problem. Do not worry about pads touching the disc..

Easiest way to see if it is a Sport - check this is to see if there is a ring on the input shaft

I have changed the cooling system on my K series and so have a Radtec Extreme Ally radiator for sale.

Will fit 1700 Crossflow and most Duratec 2.0 as well.

Has anyone got a 6Jx14" KN Minator Minilite Caterham Alloy wheel they no longer need? Finish in Silver and must be KN with correct offset - 20 I think. Ford axle. Needed to match existing wheels.

Update - needs to be a Minilite type - as per photo on Caterham parts SKU: 77393 - but 14"

Change your alternator - it is starting to fail. Classic sign is intermittent warning light.
