My 1999 VX live axle seems to be weeping oil from the oil seal where the prop shaft joins the diff. Can this be changed with the diff in place by disconnecting the prop shaft? Phil

Hi all, I know battery threads seem to appear regularly but you can never find what you want when you need it. Car is a 1.6 vauxhall classic and current battery ( as fitted when I bought it ) is a Fulmer FX38. I need to replace it fairly urgently and will take any advice on what and where to purchase. Really glad to hear there was no serious outcome from this. In january this year, following a wheel swap the previous weekend i had the same misfortune when the fns came off but my 20mph incident ended with a head on into a transit. 2 broken legs, 4 months in an external fixator frame and 5 months off work. Never, ever forget to torque them again. on the long slippery slope at last
