  2. Anyone out there got one left over in unused condition. Perhaps it's sitting in the recycling? Our daugther lent hers (from the Daily Mail) for a class display and teacher tore it up by mistake
  3. 2001 S3. Just bought 2 new genuine rear light block complete with wiring and gone to fit them The 4 point connector blocks have an extra piece of plastic retaining clip on them and so don't fit through the existing holes in the rear wing (both inner and outer skins). Initial thought is to trim this plastic. Does it serve a purpose with existing connectors? Don't want to enlarge the holes in the wings unless I have to.
  4. 2nd dibs please - I'm at the eastern side of West Sussex (Burgess Hill) but that might not be so handy if you're in Chichester
  5. Like these here as Caterham OUT OF STOCK! Tried local motor factors and hardware store but thread is different.
  6. Long shot this! A double oven (approx 50kg ) and possibly a fridge freezer - but that's not so important -from our Auntie's house in Berks to Burgess Hill. Will need at least 2 people to manoeuvre and lift.
  7. If this fits the tillets, then I guess it should also fit with the regular seats in an S3?
  8. Checked bulb(s) and ok Checked fuses Voltmeter shows 12v at the + pin. So that would indicate a bad earth but the tail light works fine and I assume they share the earth.
  9. Our daughter's lovely Raleigh "Krush" bicycle finished in metallic Silver and Pink. 20" alloy wheels on 11" steel frame. 6 speed, twist-grip, Shimano gears. V-Brakes. 10. YHM re. the 4xGates wheels and the 1 x KN Minator with ZV1 tyre
  11. Hi Crossed the thread on the brass bleed valve and can't find a replacement. It's 1/4" so not common as new ones are 5mm. The 1/2" end valve is totally seized so can't replace the whole thing. Looking at a new radiator otherwise 😔
  12. Glad I could help out a fellow Seven'er
  13. After a 'spare' wheel (for the supercar event at Dunsfold on 15th June). Already have a tyre - just after purchase of a cheap spare wheel but would't say no to one that comes with a ZV3 (the spare tyre of choice!). Doesn't need to be mint.
  14. Probably coming up for sale in the next week or so due to job change and impending replacement. Here's the spec: Vauxhall Vectra SXi 5 door hatch X Reg (2001) 1.8 16v petrol 5 speed manual Star silver metallic with SXi extras (Sports seats, alloys, sports trim & spoiler, electric windows, central locking, leather steering wheel with audio controls) Dual front airbags ABS 2 owners: Us since 2005. Before then it was my sister's (exclusive use) company car 11 months MOT Service history New front discs and pads in January 4x new Continental Premium Contact 2 tyres last summer 108,500 miles Good points: Known history Garaged Very good overall condition - well above the norm. Very reliable, well maintained family car. Long MOT Not so Good points: Air con needs to be recharged - we didn't bother yet as too cold Cosmetic dent/crease in n/s front passenger door and sill. Light bubbling around corner of n/s rear wheel arch Some small stone chips, nicks and wear & tear. Price: It's advertised at £945 here . Will consider sensible offers from fellow Blatchatters plus 11 months road tax by negotiation. Will be sad to see it go as a lovely car. Was skeptical about the Vectra after Clarkson loathed it so much but it's been great. Edited by - gin-fizz-whizz on 2 Apr 2013 08:45:48
  15. Hi Followed you from Hassocks High St to just outside Lewes. What a lovely day for a drive. I had intended to go up Ditchling Beacon but carried on to Lewes and looped round on the A27. I have a sneaky suspicion you came back that way as I'm sure I heard / caught a glimpse of a Seven later on when I was in the Beacon car park and heading off for a stroll.
  16. That's week 40 of 2007. 0.5mm wear for 4500 miles sounds about right for a ZV3 on a 7 as they're hard tyres. I'll pass this time thanks
  17. What is the week/year of manufacture on these (you'll find it in a small oval on the inner edge e.g. 2609 would be week 26 of 2009)? How many miles have the part worns done?
