  1. The one I have is plain black and just says CATERHAM in large letters. Definitely for a EU2 K series. Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin!
  2. Is the metal one for the EU2 K series? Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin!
  3. We saw one heading north on the A22 near Felbridge on 27/12. Dark blue with aeroscreens. Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin!
  4. My rear view mirror has come away from the windscreen. Tried to fix it back but the sticky pad only lasted a couple of minutes. Tried outdoor strength "Sticky Fixes" which lasted only moments longer. Yoof in Halfords suggested superglue and CC seem to only have the pads on new mirrors. Must only be a cost of about 50p tops buy, but where? Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin!
  5. We sometimes forget and wave at Sevens from our Vectra. Club sticker is too small to see so drivers must think we are barmy too! I'll keep a look out for you and if someone in a Micra waves then . See you around. Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin!
  6. Now, if you had just headed up the road you would have seen the racing at Brands Hatch. It rained there too and we all got soaked! Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin!
  7. The excitement of being spotted is real. On my way to Brands Hatch for the Formula Ford Festival with Caterham races. Please tell me you were not in your 7 as it means I didn't check my mirrors! Us 3rd brake lighters are rare indeed Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin!

  10. Seen just outside Cascais, Portugal on Sunday afternoon. Red series 4 or lookalike. Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin!
  11. Yesterday evening heading out of Cascais towards Guincho. Dark Green (BRG?), cycle wings, Portuguese plates and prisoner wheels. 3rd Seven this month . Nice ❗ Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin!
  12. Almost too embarrassed to ask this one . . . . . I’m trying to fitting a new front indicator mounting/cowl. Should be easy as basically you undo the large retaining nut on the base of the stem and remove the headlight reflector to access the wiring to thread back down the stem. Fit new item and reassemble. So what’s stopping me? The 3 pin connector block on the H4 bulb holder. Try as I may I can’t budge any of the 3 wires. Is there a trick to these or are they one-way (i.e. have to cut it off and fit a new connector). Thanks Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin! 13. Yesterday lunchtime (Tuesday 12th) passing near Campo Pequeno in Lisbon. Didn't catch the reg, so not sure whether a local or 'visitor'. Nice day for it and made me homesick!! Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin!

  15. Thanks. Just for info, they are similar to these here but bought new from local auto spares outlet not Ebay. Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin!
  16. I've just bought a pair of new reflector units as mine were corroding quite badly. I can't see any particular reason for this as no obvious fault with the units or casings. Before fitting my shiny new ones, just wanted to check out one other thought. The front of the unit sits inside/against the main holder held in place by the screw at the top. There doesn't appear to be any seal on this and moistue could enter. Casting my mind back to my Beetle days, the headlamps had a thin rubber O-ring which acted as a seal. Am I missing these or were such never fitted 🤔 Any ideas Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin!
  17. After the "lambs bleat" went completely unheard on the M23 yesterday , I just purchased myself a pair of low/high note horns made by Wipac (codes WH5786 and WH5787). Should be a straight swap for the in series OE items. However, there are no fitting instructions in the boxes and the retailer said this is quite normal for their products. All I want to know is, as the horns have twin UNMARKED terminals, which is the +ve and which is the earth or does it not matter. So I called Wipac technical support this morning and spoke to their support department who simply recommended I have them fitted by a qualified electrician as they can't give advice due to H&S. It's a no-brainer I'm sure so help please. Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin! Edited by - gin-fizz-whizz on 7 Sep 2006 08:50:38

  19. On way way from Burgess Hill to Bordon for CMC day and spotted 3 Caterhams - none of which were going to this event or appeared to be heading to Goodwood either: White - headed east on A272 at Coneyhurst 8:15am Yellow - at the Esso services in Haslemere 8:45am Red and Black - Headed east on A272 at Coolham 6:00pm (I didn't make it past that horsebox almost until the A24 intersection!) Anyone see me I wonder? Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin!
  20. Very likely it was then as my wife went to Asda at Hollingbury before heading up to Burgess Hill . . . . . while I stayed at home with the wee bairn ☹️ ❗ Blue Roadsport with silver stripe. . . . .it does exactly what it says on the tin!

  24. What a way to start the weekend . . . . followed me north-bound along the Cuckfield Road to Ansty on Saturday - would have stopped at the Esso to say hi but was late for the in-laws! This was at about 9:45am on 15th. Edited by - gin-fizz-whizz on 20 Jul 2006 09:14:21
