  1. In my dreams it's the other way around Rob but I'd take the look for a few years off my age
  2. 18 July was the championship day following a bit of practice the day before. Where do you find the date stamp Jonathan?
  3. I was just doing a bit of homework before the Gurston Down event (not really) and I noticed that the Google satellite image of the farm had lots of Caterhams on it. Looking a bit closer and delving into my memory banks, it looks to me like an aerial photo of last years event. Not sure if the image is Saturday or Sunday though
  4. AB, you've missed me off the vets championship scorecard. I wouldn't mind normally but by my calculations I should be somewhere near the front and with Goodwood next, that won't last for long
  5. I would like a spot too please. Thanks Justin
  6. Apologies. I've just checked and my rear tyres are 215s, not 205 as I said earlier, and that gives me about 10mm total spare width on a Minno Max. The bed width is 1.71m and the total width from wheel arch to wheel arch on the trailer is 2.06m
  7. A Brian James MinnoMax will fit an SV with with 205 rear tyres . . . just
  8. I agree that whilst sprinting and hillclimbing is fun, it's also more than that; I agree with David's comments #22. Warm tyres have a marked impact on grip, and at the sharp end of the classes can provide a significant advantage to the "second" driver. There will be relatively few occasions when changing conditions will impact an "out of class" driver, and then it will be win some, lose some. Warm tyres give an advantage every time. I support the spirit of the change proposal however it is worded to ensure the principle is achieved. I also agree with the proposed power limit of 220bhp for Class 4 for the reasons AB has given. Rob
  9. Fab photos Geoff. Thanks for sharing them. It was a great weekend despite the windy deluge on Saturday. I've really enjoyed my first season back in the championship and I'm looking forward to next season, with upgrades on the way already. So a big thanks to the Comp Sec team - Graham, Paul and AB - for pulling everything together so well this year, and also to all the other club helpers who put time and effort into our events. Rob
  10. Nice work there Rob and Ivan . Now let's hope we don't really need them
  11. I've heard lots about the Oyster Catcher but have never been there, so can you put me down for two places please Paul Ta
  12. Graham, the circuit's website says there are 22 garages so if L7C are a little over a third of the entry, only two garages is not really going to work for us all. Seven or eight garages would be about right proportionately but I guess we could manage with six, or maybe even five if we have any no-shows
  13. A spot in a garage for me too please Rob
  14. OK I need to get this off of my wardrobe. £95 plus postage. Now that is very cheap top end mph on a track day or sprint.
  15. Having sold my S3 and bought an SV I have my old genuine Caterham composite S3 aeroscreen to sell. It comes with a Racetech convex centre mirror. There is a small crack which you can see in the photographs but it's been there almost since I got the screen from Caterham and it doesn't get any worse with many swaps between full screen to aero over five years of sprinting with it. £110 plus postage at cost or collect from Chesterfield or Sheffield or the Curborough sprint on 9 May etc Rob

  17. Sadly you seem to have got my times correct AB but I like the format My vote for the yellow trowel (for those competitors who aren't yellow trowel aware, have a look at the Roger Cumming profile - Class 2 - in the latest Competitor Handbook) goes to "Hill" Howard
  18. I took my 420R to Donington Park last week and they too have a 98db drive-by limit. I didn't trigger anything that i know of and I certainly didn't get thrown off. But Goodwood does have a bit of a reputation for being mustard keen on noise
  19. It's OK I just found it on the MS Word version of the form. The answer is "MSUK"
  20. I'm just filling in the signing on form for Goodwood, and I'm sure it's probably obvious, but what is the "ASN" we have to fill in please?
