  1. Hi James. The silver SV was mine, also glad of the half-hood on the drive over. Some amazing cars. Loved the pale green D Type that arrived towards the end. Thought it was a really friendly event. Have just registered for the October 3rd event.
  2. Green and yellow 310 at The Motor Hub, Bibury this morning. Great and eclectic mix of cars on show. Hope you had a dry run home.
  3. Red/maroon 21 seen this morning in Wroughton near Swindon. I was on by way hope after the nail-biting exercise that is the MOT.
  4. Silver SV(?) driving up through the village at about 9.00 this morning.
  5. Yes, comes complete. Outer sleeve, outer box, inner box, bezel protector, instruction booklet, warranty card and holder, tags and original purchase receipt.
  6. I haven't yet. May I ask how much, or what percentage, off their retail did they offer?
  7. Afraid not. Just an 116610LN. Huw

    Torque wrench

Can anyone advise on the nm range I need a torque wrench to cover for most DIY servicing jobs on a 7? Any particular recommendations for actual wrenches would be great. Huw

    Dauntsey's School

Black 66 plate participating in the Art in Motion exhibition. I was watching my son playing in the U13's rugby.
  14. Miles, I can't answer the question about wing-stays. Best you speak to CC or Redline. Avon still make the CR500. You can buy direct. I suspect the likes of CC, BMTR or Demon Tweeks can supply.
  15. You can still get CR500 tyres in 195 45 R15. They are quite expensive though. Replacing the wing stays would be cheaper than new wheels - even if you have to replace the cycle wings.
  16. 3.00 ish this afternoon. Also a number of cars on the way to the VSCC meet at Prescott this weekend.
  17. And again on the way home at 5:45, same village. I was in the silver 7 with orange nose band.
  18. You passed me this morning at 7.30. I was waiting for the school bus in the car park of The Crown Inn. We're in the next village, Broad Town.
  19. If the misfire occurs once the engine is up to temperature my experience (currently on my third) would suggest the lambda sensor.

    Prescott

Several at Prescott hill climb yesterday including Andy Couchman. A great day out - as ever. Bugatti Chiron going up the hill was a sight. Favourite car was an AC Bristol belonging to one of the marshals. The owner was very gracious in his time and enthusiasm when chatting to my youngest.
  21. Sounds familiar. I have a 125 on it's third lamda sensor having only done 13,000 miles. Do idea why it doesn't seem to last...
  22. Thanks DJ. On mine the indent on the moveable part of the valve sits at 10 o'clock when perhaps you'd expect it to be sitting at 12 o'clock namely lined up with the indent on the fixed section of the valve. Does that sound right?
  23. With the help of another club member (cheers Geoff) we recently serviced the car but were defeated by the clutch fluid. The bleed valve was impossible to open. Has anyone successfully managed this recently and can they talk me through how to get the valve open. Even when we could get a had to it we couldn't get the thing to move. It looks like it moves in a clockwise direction to open? I'm reluctant to apply too much pressure for fear of damaging it. Thanks in anticipation. Huw
  24. Green Roadsport SV at Prescott today.
  25. BRG and yellow in the North End car park at school today. Spotted by my wife and both boys at pick-up.
