    where do I buy new main hoses ? newish caterham ones have perished and top one split today. they seem poor quality. normal ones or silicon ? Are they unique to caterham ? 1990 supersprint. thanks in advance.

    thanks,surely it must stress things and alter set up. I imagened a big problem. Yes its that bar along front of tank, for the non technical is that the de dion ,the V type frame joint with 2 rubber bushes I was using as jacking point when jack fell onto the bar I bent ?

    1990 de dion car..Centre of round frame bar running in front of petrol tank bent upwards about half inch . can it be bent back without a lot of hassle ,it is otherwise sound. Anyone know a place to get it straightened .I live North Dorset ??? Can I still drive it safely.

    very qwick reply. thanks.it is the switch on hydraulic brake pipes above gear box which I want to replace, I have a correct new one which even I can change, was hoping I could do safely , but bleeding is beyond me

    when changing hydrolic 2 electric pin switch for replacement do I just unscrew old one and change , will I get oil leak or let in air .break lights not working, fuse ok ,I am not knowledgeable like most of you .spellings look strange!

    £30 fine last summer in N Wales, police spot check on all motorbikes. also measuring number plates. I wrote to chief CON . very sunny day ,v safe visor,I thought police dreadfull ridiculous .

    10 amp fuse blowed, told by another owner it was likely because I used footrake when stopped,so best to use 15 amp fuse. now fuse plastic a bit melted ,appears not to have blown , bulbs ok ,but brake lights not coming on even with new fuse any ideas please 1990 super sprint

    Many thanks,I have a multimeter,but am sorry to say,do not understand it.I have a simple light up screwdriver with an earth wire attatched.my car is a 1990 super sprint . the last car I touched was a sprite in 1970 due to company cars . the black loose wie gets lost in the loom .if I conect the 2 wires ,the blue live screen wire with the dead black loose car wire can I try it without sparks or damage,. The light on the screen switch works ok .again thanks

    Autoglass just fitted new screen and left the blue passenger side Caterham screen wire dangling. This wire becomes live when ignition and screen switch on, fitter couldn't find the wire to connect it to, although there is an obvious loose black wire nearby coming out of the wiring loom with a bullet connector on the end, this wire stays dead. Do I connect the blue and black wire together. Fitter said connected drivers side wire ok. I am not technical, but want to get the screen heater working without damaging anything.Thanks in advance.
