    Quite new battery is dead as garage electric been off for days. Battery always needs to be on charge. Wife's car and she didn't notice. Top C checkintelligentl charger with adapter to cigarette lighter always worked ok but my sonhas just looked at it (due to illness I cannot look at or do anything. ) ask ally on turning on mains the charger lights up but apparently all the Porsche boxter warning lights start to keep flashing. Son thinks this is a possible problem and wants to know if safe to just leave the newis h c teck charger on the cigarette socket. He Amy's he cannot get to the battery to charge it with connectors due to a ver tight garage and obviously cannot start the wife's car. Any advice please.

    My new ctec power to go intelligent charger needs to be set on type of battery. It says set either NORMAL. or. AGM. As I have a sealed powervamp battery just rang them up and they weren't much help and VERY vague but thought AGM. As going to be on crossflow all winter anyone know for sure. 2014 battery says powervamp racing 25 full plate. It's 7 x 7 inches and 3 inch fat. 680 amp cranking and 18 AH which all means nothing to me. My old motorbike one used for years only had one setting Also I want to use it on 2 modern Jap motorbikes with small 12 v batteries and again don't know the setting I should use normal or AGM. Ctec seem impossible to ask GOOGLE talks about limited electrolyte absorbed in a plate separator. ! . Thanks for any help

    Thank you for your replies which informs me. Printing out to give to my local mechanic who owns a specialist Audi VW garage but was trained in such cars as the 7 and classics and enjoys something different On the phone he agreed with your suggestions.

    Noticeable smoking exhaust on 28,000 mile supersprint. Previously always only a puff when starts up and only a little oil burnt Second run since service correct oil put in by very good mechanic and mot pass. It seemed normal trace of smoke only and no problem like now . Does the smoke mean that engine needs to be worked on and any ideas what lies in front of me before I drive it to my good local garage. Should I worry driving it. Thanks

    Fitted ignition lead set. Distributor cap. Spark plugs. Balanced carbs and tested and tightened earths etc etc Seems ok now. Thanks

    You ask if sorted. Been to a vg local garage with owner having trained on cars like ours . He has ordered several things having worked through it and yet to fit. Trouble was it kept starting so he wasn't sure Will say what's what when sorted. I printed out for him all the above help , thanks Passed mot no problem , done as guess in future most mots will be so busy.

    Narrow machine to go through entrances. 66 cm cut with 224 cc engine Made by mountfield but sold by screwfix under their Titan name Good rear grass collector. Purchased last spring and it still looks very new . Possable deliver if must. Asking £ 790. They were £1400 but £1200 in current screwfix sale.     Starts ok when cold but after run in hot weather the 1990 super sprint refuses to restart after stopping for a minute or two. Pushing is the same , however leave for 10 minutes and starts. As if petrol not getting through , but once going drives fine. Any ideas please ? Son been using car as essential worker. I have had car for years and always been ok.

    I also saw them think same day in AUDIERNE ,but only 3 of them, and they drove twice round town . I was staying with family nearest town was Audierne Lovely area. Strange we were there also. Remember very hot day.
