    13 HP virtually unused , I unexpectedly purchased land next to my garden so can now bonfire all cutting etc having got fed up with useless electric shredders and this powerful VGC wheeled one is taking up garage space now.     I would use Hafixs , a German industrial superglue , along the crack. Then J B Weld (the normal slow setting twin tubes are the strongest) underneath , spread on wing and the strengthening strips . Both available on Internet , you will find it a 100 % mend for ever and easy to use. Araldite in my opinion is nothing like as strong . Both Hafixs ( keeps ages in fridge ) and J B weld I use to repair many things and never fail. My petrol tank got damaged and 10 years ago used JB to glue on aluminium plate. Perfect . Hafix far far better and far stronger than normal superglues . Hope helpful.

    is it ok to arc weld an electric powered ( hydrolic ) heavy log splitter - will welding a split bracket back on damage a motor 6 inches away , it is not possible to seperate first and there is no fuse.. do not understand electric currents !! but can weld - of sorts

    thanks everyone. am I correct thats it THE TRUNNION WASHER KIT part 75140 that i need , rather than the trunnion repar kit part QSK140S ? I am told the brass trunnions are good on my car. problem was mot garage said play in wheel bearings -- on inspection specialist old jaguar garage said wheel bearings perfect but play both sides on bottom wishbone outer bearings (bushes) just want to make sure I give them the right parts to fit

    my specialist garage want me to scorce a pair of nylon type bushes with a sleeve to fit bottom outer wishbone [these fit to bass trunions] and will replace both sides as they are worn .I am not technical so hope I make sense. what do I order and where do I go please ?
