My car is in for a service (2012 self built Roadsport SV). I heard late last year during hibernation time that there are two things that need to be “fixed” on orders from head office, but I was not told what. When I took the car in, they said they would need to go and check the records for what needs to be done. The interesting (for me) thing is that there may be four things that need some work, so I am wondering if these overlap with Caterham’s info, or if some things are okay or already addressed: 1: Sticking brake calipers? 2: Routing of the brake line on top of the de Dion. 3: The Diff bracket for the BMW diff was a pig to install because the holes matched so ally and I have heard of stress cracks. If this is something that needs doing, I pity the poor souls who has to get those bolts out. 4: The bobbins quality three part radiator. They are definitely replacing this because it is leaking. But I don’t know if there has been a hush hush recall/replacement of these or not. It might be an expensive service, or it may be fine. I shall have to see. But I shall, for now, assume the worst.
