  1. Really Oz -are you sure? Disappointed you are selling & hope you are back in the fold at some point. I can vouch that its a cracking car and there can't be any better or faster at that money.
  2. Ive just been through this - the manufacturer can give you a certification but it usually involves providing some pictures & a small fee.
  3. When referring to "the new list 1b" can I assume that the list in the 2016 blue book is the "new list"? Thanks
  4. Michael Adams & Page in Wycombe can get them (or at least have got me some CR500's a few years ago). Worth a call?
  5. Adrian I had one nicked off my trailer & BJ made me another long one for £70. Bit pricey but they can supply but only built to order; lead time was about 15 days IIRC.
  6. Does the club now have clarity on tyres for the coming season? For class 4 it looks like list 1b stands - is that correct? So I can't use ZZR in soft compound (A24?) for this season unless they are marked with 15156 or 15157, which mine are not? So assuming the above is correct, what are people opting for? Sorry I know this has been done to death!
  7. I agree Simon that there is a cost ( not sure it equates to £20) but my point is that you had kindly managed to negotiate with them to get them FOC.They then managed to lose what I had sent them & then introduce a charge retrospectively; this was after a previous purchase from them took two months to resolve due to poor administration by them where they lost the correspondence & simply didn't fulfill on their commitments in anything like a timely manner. I don't have a problem paying them for the time involved had that been made clear up front. Anyway all sorted now, so thanks to Dan at Caged & Simon for the original approach.
  8. I agree Oli & told them as much. They have now agreed to provide it FOC as a goodwill gesture so my faith is restored
  9. Seems like I have little choice. Less than I impressed as previous dealings with them (on an entirely separate matter) were a lot less than satisfactory too. Guess I have to stump up £20 then....
  10. All As per Del's advice i have contacted Dan; it appears Dave is no longer at Caged, they have no record of my letter &SAE & they want to charge £20 for the privilege of a sticker or £21 if I fail to supply a SAE (despite them having lost my first one).
  11. Black race suit, size 64 and in good condition with no rips or tears anywhere. Meets FIA standard 8856-2000. Freshly cleaned. £75 plus postage or collect near High Wycombe or St Albans.
  12. Are these mandatory/a legal/MOT requirement? I understand the road safety benefits they provide but looking at this months LF there appears to be plenty of 7's without them fitted.
  13. Does anybody know what circuit/s a Shurlock immobiliser kills? Is it the fuel pump feed or the switching to the injectors? Still having problems getting my car started -see my post "Ongoing saga of non starting 7" - but now seems to be either a faulty MBE or the immobiliser not allowing the injectors to switch. The injectors will put fuel in when tested but they are not getting a signal via the MBE to do so. Everything has been checked and these are the last two possibilities. Thanks 2003 R300 k series EU2 on TB's
  14. Following Simon's helpful post about how to get Caged to supply a sticker for those of us who haven't got one, I sent photos & SAE etc some weeks ago but have heard nothing back. Did anybody else do the same and get a sticker yet? Do want to start chasing as they are doing us a favour but was expecting a response by now. Thanks
  15. Thanks - I may have some extended garden leave shortly so as I said I may take you up on it.
  16. Thanks John Might take you up on that shortly depending on how we progress. Whereabouts are you?
  17. Longy I sent you the GPR code didn't I?
  18. Mark One of the guys helping me has an EU3 R300 with the same MBE so will plug that in soon
  19. Mark (Pugwash) The inertia switch is bridged so it doesn't cut out if a kerb etc is taken a bit aggressively! Thanks. Mark D You're correct re TPS but replaced that again so I think the part is ok but wiring is somewhere to look at further. Thanks JK I think I'm ok with what I've got so far. The guys helping me will no doubt advise if we need anything more. Thanks
  20. The thought about the immobiliser had occurred to me too. Thanks
