  5. I use comma semi-syn in my x-flow for 2 reasons ... 1. I can get comma for 12 qiud a gallon thumbsup.gif 2. my x-flow burns too much to make mobil one worthwhile (well at least the engine is lubricated ! teeth.gif

  9. Minty, I have a pair of caterham wind deflectors from my x-flow, I've never used them, are you interested in a pair ? and the reason for not using them ? I think they look like a leftover from starsky and hutch .....:-) actually I'm after an aeroscreen setup for mine. Pete

  11. blinding idea, just keep the orignal wings in case you ever wanted to convert the car nack to orignal, has anyone out there got a set of cycle wings and stays for a 1988 long cockpit with std front suspension, british racing green or yellow, cheers Pete

I managed to pou a big dent in the sump of my x-flow ! nothing new there I guess, anyway then I managed to hole it :-(, I've welded it up but I think I should change it as I probably won't last forever. Does anyone out there have a sump that is not required, I'd prefer one that is undamaged as I've also managed to grind the sump plug so much that the only way I can do an oil change is to remove the whole sump ! Failing that does anyone want to buy a x-flow Caterham for 8.5k ? cheers Pete

I have a 1988 'Q' Caterham for swap,it's 1700 x-flow, 4 speed, live axel, long cockpit, adjustable cloth seats, full weather gear, 25k miles, build manual etc: blah blah blah, O yes, the colour, british racing green with a yellow nose cone and 5 spoke revolutions which are also yellow and new yoko tyres. I fance a change, a 911 would ne nice so I can get my 2 boys in, or a Lotus Elan, or what have you got ?
