Getting it done on Friday. Anyone remember off hand what DVA recommends as the cam timing for my vernier pulleys. 1.8k, lightly ported head.

I hate brake fluid, ever since I spilled a bit down the side of my Austin Healey Sprite 20 years ago.

Lack of time means I sadly rarely use my Seven. 94 miles in last two years, this years tax disc is still on my desk. I still do an oil and filter change every year, but thinking about the other big service items - the cam belt and brake fluid have not been replaced in about 8 years. Car had done about 1000 miles in that time. I probably know the answer to this, but should either or both be changed? Car is 1800 K series, dry sump. Edited by - pelico on 22 Aug 2014 12:54:46

Driving style: Possibly entering the corner too quick. On one of the Motorsports events training days I was advised to break hard to enter slowish, go for a late apex, feel the front wheels grip and then bleed the power in. Mind you I am a rubbish driver 😬 The more talented might trail brake at bit

Any blatchat babies on the way ? I am selling a Stokke Cot and Changing table. These are hugely desirable and the Lotus Seven of nursery accessories. They are both multi-purpose The cot changes from: A newborn crib to.. An infants cot to.. A childs bed to.. A small sofa See here The changing table changes from: A changing table to Shelf unit to.. A desk See here These appear to be going on Gumtree etc for £300+ each second hand. I would be happy to pass them on to a club member for £100 each. Note: The cot does not come with the mattresses and the table is without the padded cushion. Mrs Pelico tells me a new baby would want new ones. These are available from any Stokke dealer. Two firm offers last night on email, so am taking 1st dibs using the email time-stamps as per our normal practice here. If any consolation I have a set of bench seats and a tatty but very useable low back original Tillet cart seat if that is of any use to anyone. P

Pre S-type leather seats for sale. Both with adjustable runners which include the mounting points that bolt to the chassis rails rather than the floor.
