  1. Hi, I eventually found some nice leather s type seats to replace the older seats in my 1998 car. They fit in well, but the old ones bolted through the floor chassis members, and the bolt positions are completely different. I want to fit the new seats correctly, and if possible, without drilling too many holes, so that the originals could be refitted if somebody wanted to. If anyone has done this, I would be grateful for advice. Many thanks, Paul.
  2. Hi, yes please. I'll take both bags if available.
  3. Measurement from top of screen to top centre of roll bar 98cm. It is for a 1998 de Dion car with standard roll over bar.

  6. Hi 7 Wonders, I contacted all the independent dealers I know, but no joy so far. Please can you suggest any race teams, as having been out of the U.K. for so long, I am out of touch. Thanks for any help.
  7. Thanks K7 VCT. I spoke to Tim and he may be able to help.
  8. I advertised in the wanted section, but have not found a tidy pair of S3 leather seats with headrests. I just wondered if anyone has a pair sitting in the garage they would part with please?
  9. They are virtually the last parts I'm looking for to complete the restoration of my 24 year old car. Should you have any, or know of someone who has any, please let me know. Each time some come up, I miss them, or they need renovating. I'm after standard adjustable seats with headrests in good condition please.
  10. £500 offered for a mint pair of these seats, plus post and packing....
  11. Thanks StevehS3. I joined the group as soon as I could, but already sold...
  12. Doesn't anyone have any of these for sale, or want to upgrade to carbon ones or tillets?

  14. Hi, Does anyone have a pair of (preferably leather) s type seats for a series 3 car, with runners and headrests please? Also looking for a pair of blue 4 point harnesses please.
  15. Hi, I have Serpistar GR410 in my 33 year old S3. It was installed in 1995. It drains the battery, so I have to disconnect the battery after every use. I will order a battery isolator switch as soon as the Ford kit is back in stock at Caterham, but would love to know how to remove the immobiliser..... Being in SW France, it is hard to find anyone knowledgeable who you can trust. I have the installation receipt, but the company AVS Security Systems of Hoddesden Herts seem to have disappeared ☹️.
  16. Hi, Is it possible to convert a fixed Momo wheel to a quick release one please?
  17. Does anyone have an alloy rocker cover in good condition please?
  18. Hi, does anyone have a spare pair of door mirrors please?
  19. Hi David and Andrew, It has to be over 30 years old, so 10 August 1990 is the cut off point at the moment. I am advised that after the brexit transition period, there will be further complications. To register as a car of collection with the FFVE, you first have to get a tax form from the local tax office. The car can then only be registered to the person named on this tax form. Once the transition period finishes, unless the tax form is already completed, I am told that the French equivalent of VAT will have to be paid, which will somewhat take the shine off things..... I can wait patiently for a couple of years, so about 1992 is my personal cut off point
  20. The car is beautiful.....if only it was slightly older so not so long to wait to register abroad.....
  21. Hi, I have a Serpistar GR410 immobilizer that was fitted to my car back in 1995. It works, but is a bit of a pain to use. There is a sensor switch under the back of the bonnet, and a movement detector in the cockpit. I am fitting a battery isolator switch, and want to remove the immobilizer. I am fairly handy with soldering, heat shrink etc, and have test meter. Can anyone advise how best to go about this, so that I don't end up with a pedal car and a bundle of spaghetti please?
