  2. Used Optimax on my X/F and found that it blocked the in-line fuel filter just before my fuel pump with a clear jelly like substance. Changed back to normal unleaded no problem!! Hope this helps and there have been some previous threads on the subject before. Nick.

  9. Steve I am interested in the doors, hood and sticks. Either give me a call on 07879 456561 or nmt.77@ntlworld.com and i'm sure that we can come to some agreement. Cheers Nick
  10. Steve Are the doors flat in profile or do they have mouldings to fit your elbows. If they have mouldings then they are hi-vis. If so then I would be interested if you split. Cheers Nick
  11. Steve I am interested in the hood and doors if they are hi-vis type and will fit over a FIA roll bar. Nick
  12. Matt should have read your first post better!! However a good long run should remove most of the moisture and you should have less mayo on the dipstik if everything is ok Cheers Nick
  13. Matt If you suspect that it is condensation, then remove the rocker cover and wipe out the offending mayo. Replace and go for a long drive, an hour or so, keeping a very good eye on the temp gauge. A long run should allow the engine to heat up enough to remove any moisture from the oil. Remove the oil filler cap, check the inside of the rocker cover when you return. No mayo then condensation, mayo then look further. Hope this helps Nick

I am thinking of changing all of the suspension bushes on a X-flow 88 De-dion to polybush type. Are there different hardnesses of bushes available and if so what is recommended for fast road / occasional track use? Also best place to purchase a kit? Cheers Nick
