  1. I use the Honeywell Howard Leight Noise Blocking Stereo earmuffs. They have built in speakers so you can plug in your iPod (or phone) and not need ear buds I.e. they are wired and not Bluetooth. Okay over sunglasses. Currently about £28

  3. This is the speed sensor from my 2008 Sigma car. It has the number XS508B1NAL2 on it. I can't see anything like it on CC parts website. Can anyone help with part number (if different from above) and supplier? Thx in advance Martin
  4. #3 JV. Is using an air box assembly S3 cars CC part number 30E179C the easiest way to do it? Plus hose etc and hole in bonnet.

  6. According to my handbook it is 4.5 litre without heater and 5.1 litre with heater

  8. Hi Brian On my S3 - I have between the chassis and lowered floor ( as CC supplied fitting details) 30P065A spacer Harness mounting plate S65L swivelling insert S156 spacer washer If any of the above are missing it may explain the difference you refer to Martin

  11. I have asked this before - as I understand it "When an XL tyre is run at the pressure recommended by the vehicle manufacturer, it will last longer. These tyres are considered to have greater grip and better traction. Because they are more rigid, they will corner better and maintain stability. They also transmit power from the engine to the road more quickly, which may be an important feature in performance cars. In addition, XL tyres can provide better resistance to the extra load from acceleration and braking, and the centrifugal force from cornering. On the other hand, these tyres are usually slightly noisier than standard load tyres." They do tend to be used on SUV's and performance cars - cars that are heavier and/or put significant loads on the tyre when driven hard.
