I currently have one leather S type seat and one cloth, and would like to have a matching pair. So I'm looking for either (1) One leather S type seat (2) A pair of leather seats (3) A pair of Tillets (4) One cloth seat (my least preferred option so would need to be v cheap!)

Does anybody else have any seats for sale? I'm still looking for either just one or a pair. I currently have one leather and one cloth (both S type) and would prefer 2 the same, preferably leather.

Uncle F Good question. This has worried me a bit on every Caterham I've owned, the nuts usually engaging by barely 7 threads. I recently fitted a spare set of Mazda MX5 open nuts in place of the rusy chrome original CC closed nuts and felt disconcerted that the studs didn't reach the end of the nuts by some way. I've never had a problem, but I would appreciate some assurance from CC on the safety aspect.

First car wanted for a friend's son. Maximum £500. Must be low insurance group, so something like a Micra, Polo, 106/205, Corsa or AX/Saxo. Reliability more important than cosmetic appearance.

Passed the MOT today! Pre-cat so visual smoke test only - easy peasy. Forgot to mention long type 4 into 1 exhaust manifold, 7 grille, Luke harness, Racetec s/wheel, Caterham rubber mats. I'm about to sell my Caterham J7 PBJ 1992 (from memory) de Dion 7 1400 Supersport 130 bhp engine with 5 speed g/box Yellow with dark green centre stripe Cycle wings LSD FIA bar 13" Minators with Avon CR322s Leather pre-S type seats. Adjustable spring platforms and rear a/r bar. Option to buy v low mileage 1800 MGF engine complete (I intended to fit it but the 1400 s/s goes so well that I decided not to bother). !2 months MOT from 28th April 6 months tax. Registration J7 PBJ included. Not sure about price yet. Does £8500 sound too much or too little? Will be at Stoneleigh on Sunday. Dave. Sorry for the confusion but I'm looking for the upholstered part, not the ali bit. Andy. My tunnel top is for a current model de Dion with h/brake on the tunnel. I'll sell it as soon as I find one for the earlier model.

The Vitesse / GT6 caliper is a bigger casting but the Caterham uses the late Spitfire / Herald version. I recently bought a new one because I snapped a mounting lug, but the pistons were fine I think. You are welcome to them if you want them. They're from a 2001 race car. ...for sticking a 1000mm x 900mm s/steel sheet to a sound plaster wall to make a splashback for the cooker? Gripfix, or some kind of silicone or polyurethane ? Any ideas?

Still looking for a pair of excellent rear wings in yellow, or possibly black, or even a full set of plastics in another colour (red?). Also need: One leather seat but will buy a pair if necessary.
