I have the new golf (in GTD form rather than the GTI) and having test drove the 1 Series as well I would agree with the steering and handling comments in the vid. I had my heart set on a 1 series but when compared to the golf in was just nowhere near as good. It's my first golf and I have to say I love it - which pains me as I have always been very anti them ! If anyone is interested i am selling my wifes 60 plate Honda CRV (4X4) 2.2 Diesel EX. The EX is the top of the range with leather, parking camera, elec seats, sat nav etc etc and is in superb condition and a great car. We have owned since it was about 3 months old and its not quite 3 years old yet (reg in Nov 2010 i think) so it comes with the remaining manufacturers warranty. It has done only 24k miles and also comes with the remainder of Honda 5 years free servicing. I can email photo's if required. I'm near Oxford. My wife is getting a Company car and its due to arrive in the next 2 weeks and so i am looking for around £16k, which is "webuyanycar" valuation and i may do if i get no interest. Mark Oliver

I have booked a midweek break at Centre Parcs (Longleat) on the above dates but due to a staffing problem with my wife's business we just cannot go. I have just been reading up on K Series filling issues and as I am about to fit new silicone hoses I have ordered a bleed T as suggested by many. The question is with the T fitted can you just fill and bleed via the T without lifting the front of the car etc etc ? I can see lots of blatchat words on filling issues. Mark

I drove home from work last night and my car just cut out after driving about 3/4 of a mile. it restarted easily, but the tickover was a bit lumpy and almost stalling. i stopped, set the immobiliser and then off and started it again, this time no issues and drove like normal. no tickover issues. its an 02 VVC K-Series Any thoughts ? (i dont think it was an initial imob forgetting - as i have done this before and it cut out after seconds)
