Hi Rockape,
This is all good advise, just one think I'd add (sorry if someone else has said this and I missed it) had my first track day in July. had two instructor sessions (great) then a moment of panic, rounding the hammer head at bedford water ran across the screen, thought it must be rain, checked the sky clear blue, realised there must be an issue elsewhere, checked the gauges all ok. wipers on, screen clear by end of the straight. couple of turns more water on the screen, obviously a leak somewhere so off power slowly back to the pits.
Entered the pits thinking s**t 2 months old and I've broke it. Instructor looked at me and asked what's wrong?
Said I was worried about the water, he said 7's always push water up the washer jets when you corner so hard, did no one tell you?
keep water bottle fluid low, not empty just low.
