  1. I think you'll be struggling to even give them away I'm afraid Peter .. I have just takes the OH's 32" flat screen CRT panasonic (massive thing, perfect working order) down to the tip and there are skips filling up with them as you watch!
  2. how do you get the oil out of it, Mark?
  3. I have just bought one from think auto .. if you google mocal oil catch tank and select images you'll get the idea. It would sit in front of the heater, but the drain plug is at the bottom, so I will probably put it where the ecu is, with a right angle connector underneath to drain it.

    Apollo AND ds?

last BTTT .. (I think I may have to toss a coin), keep the apollo or bin it? any last opinions on the advantages or not of having both? thanks I use the car for blatting, track days and shopping ..
  5. I've probably got the right allen key socket if that's what you mean? and, not much help unless the car still goes, air impact wrench (not very transportable!) which worked well for me on the bottom shock absorber bolts
  6. thanks Nick .. does it fit under the bonnet or do you need a cut out?

    Apollo AND ds?

I think Anthony's probably ok with his, my dilemma is that I'm about to fit an engine with a dry sump (caterham, gold pump, the same as Anthony's), and I already have an Apollo .. I was just going to remove it, but having seen that Anthony's car has both, I wondered if there was a good reason. If there is half a point in keeping it, I might as well keep it as remove it I guess.

    Apollo AND ds?

An Apollo is pointless if you have a correctly designed DS + what Adrian says .. so assuming the Caterham DS is correctly designed, I should remove the apollo as it overcomplicates the engine bay and makes it a complete pain to change the alternator belt (as the nice AA man will confirm ..) .. OK, back to plan A!

    Apollo AND ds?

following from Anthony's pics, is having both an apollo and a dry sump desirable/necessary? I was assuming mu apollo would be redundant after fitting a DS, but maybe I should keep it?
  10. Anthony, have you got an apollo tank and a dry sump? or is thet something different in the pics?

    Stack Cable

mine operates solely from the one circular plug that pushes into the centre of the stack (there's a collar that turns a quarter turn to lock it) There seem to be plenty of spare plugs as in your photo that don't do anything ...

    Toggle switches

If your rocker switches have gone a bit milky white, try Autoglym Bumper Care .. after a few coats mine look like new again. It works really well on a carbon dash as well.
