How easy is it to change the cam belt on a 1.8K series engine, mine has now done 25k+ miles and thought it might be a good idea to change it. Mature enthusiast Black with Silver stripe 1.8K super sport.

Malchin North East Germany yesterday evening about 17-30, couldn't quite see the number plate or if it was LHD or RHD but had a single chrome roll bar, looked very smart. I don't know if mine work as Ihave never tried them, come to think of it they didn't try them during the MOT. One simple answer is to fit an aero screen, saves all the bother of standing on your head trying to fit a new mechanism. Mature enthusiast Black with Silver stripe 1.8K super sport.

I have had a few problems with the ECU fuse blowing on my 1.8k, when I was on the recent SW fish and chip run to Aberystwyth it happened again and one of the club members told me to uprate to a 30amp fuse (the fuse box says 20amp) I have since done this but last week I had the problem again after leaving the car for about 15 minutes I came back and there was no life, I checked the fuse and it was OK, still no life, then I changed the fuse to a 20amp and I heard it pop as I turned the key, so back in went the 30amp and all was OK, have I got a serious falt or is this common/ Mature enthusiast Black with Silver stripe 1.8K super sport.

Thanks Myles. I just felt it may need changing or topping up as it seems a bit noisy but I have been told that dedion are a bit noisyanyway.

What is the recommended oil for a dedion diff and how much is needed, also how often does it need changing. 🤔 Mature enthusiast.
