As Graham says the Caterham mesh fits well with the 7 grill, mines been in place for several years and never had any problem with overheating.

The Main reason I went for the lowered ones (Caterham) was for visibility (I'm a shortass) But to me they also look good. As for the hole in the nose cone it is hardly visible. -

Don't do what I did and reasemble the light to the bracket and fit the pug back on before you bolt the bracket to the car, the plug is to big to go through the hole in the bodywork, therefore had to dissconnect the wires from the plug again then thread them through the bodywork and refit the plug, doh 🙆🏻 -

Cheers both I did remove the yellow thingy but didn't try removing the wires, thinking about it I must have done this when I fitted the smaller lights a few years ago. 😬 Must remeber to make a note of where the wires go before I remove them. Alan -
Just started on this mod and I am a little stumped on how I thread the wires from the headlight down the tube of the new brackets, come to that how do I get the wires out of the old ones? Alan

I,ve just fitted AVO's but can't comment yet as I haven't driven the car yet, but I did find them very easy to fit once I had the right tools and the sales person at AVO was very helpful and advised me on the right springs for road and occasional track use.

Can anyone tell me what size the wheel studs are on my 98 supersport. (metric or imperial) (early Ford or late) Cheers.

Has anyone ever fitted whell spacers and longer studs on the front of their 7. I have some spare wheels and the offset is a bit too much and the wheels rub on the wing supports and thought that I could use spacers.

I am thinking of putting my worn 888 (14") onto steel rims for the next track day I do, any recommendations as to which wheel I should look for in a scrap yard. Alan

Ran the car today and the oil pressure was normal about 1.5 bar at tickover and 3.5+at high revs, so it must have been the abnormally high temperatures on the run down from North Wales on Sunday 😬

Good, it is not leaking badly at the moment so I may leave it for the winter jobs.
