Oily, I have a set of of Blue plastic injectors,(slim compaired to the ones in my car) numbers on the side are 0280 156 024. Think they are EU3. Any good to you? Jason

Annoying thing is I did replace the CBR, Thats why I was thinking Spigot Bearing. However I recall the clips that hold the CRB onto the Fork looking a little dodgy, I wonder if it has come adrift.

I think I know the answer already but looking for a second opinion. Just replace the engine in my Car (k-series). With the engine running when I put my foot on the clutch I get a loud Whirring noise. Looks like I may have jiggered the Spigot bearing during install. does that sound right? or is it the CRB? Looks like its time to take the engine back out Thanks Jason.

I will get the Multimeter out and have another check, I was hoping there was a setting in the Emerald software I had missed. I was considering just rewiring the TPS. Whats the best way to remove the old pins from the ECU plug? Is there a special tool to do this? Jason.

Hi, Getting ready to start my new engine. First problem is that The Emerald is not seeing the Throttle position sensor. I am using the original 1400ss loom, I have tried a couple of different TPS's but both do not show any movement on the setup screen in the emerald Softwear, even when removed from the Jenveys and turned by hand. Any Ideas? Thanks Jason.

Anyone got a pair of Piper 285h Cams knocking around? Its a long shot I know, but trying here before a buy a pair. Or can anyone recommend a good stock source for these? DVA? Thanks Jason.

Hi, I have a standard rad off a 1400k knocking around the garage, It was fine when I took it off, I think it has collected a couple more dings since I took it off, but it looks like it will be ok. Its yours if you want it, I could take it to the Surrey meet tonight. Jason

I got some from here a couple of years ago. (I think they may have been 82mm?) You can get the stickers to go in the centre from caterham. Jason

I had a similer problem with mine; it turned out the pin/bit that engages the rachet had gone past the last notch on the rachet. I unscrewed the button and pulled on the bar with a pair of long nose pliers and it freed it up. Might be worth a try. Jas.

I have been trying to get hold of a new set of pads for mine since June 2007, I have to do the same as ric before an Mot, I even had to space the pads out with large washers last year so I could get enough grip on the discs. 🙆🏻 Airheart is the brand. Jason. -

My car is 1994 and only had to pass a visible smoke test on my last MOT the emmissions are not tested. I have the same conversion as you. So I think you will be Ok Edited by - Hurtle on 17 Apr 2008 09:23:09

I have done it just used jubille clips and tightened it on, it took the shape of the 7" with minimal effort. Jas

Dave, No it did not come from Caterham, its new and never been in any car. All I know is that it has Piper fast road cams, I am going to double check the numbers on the cams tonight. Jas.
