George specialises in certain tyre sizes. E.g. 185/70R13 are used in oval racing and he gets through 4000 tyres a year - hence a decent price. For 185/60R13 he is the same as anybody else:-(

If you have a daily car, it may be worth adjusting your lamps to coincide with the height of that at a given distance. Failing that, get them checked by an MOT station:-( You will need to point out how to slacken the nut to adjust them... Cheers, Graham

Weber parts are not that expensive. I generally call either: Burton Power, Ilford (020) 8554 2281 or http://www.burton-power.co.uk/ or Carburettor Centre, Archway (020) 8348 4218 They have most things in stock and charge sensible prices. Cheers, Graham

Arrowstar did mine for 5 pounds, that was a mesh pre-cut to fit and all the necessary cable ties to secure it. Definitely overpriced, but I couldn't be bothered to make one myself:-)

For Yoko 021R in 185/70R13 try George Polley in Heathfield (01435-863679). AT 40ukp per corner fitted, they are unbeatable. No connection with George other than as a satisfied customer. Also, note these are not old stock, he claims to get through 2000 of these tyres each year!

I cannot vouch for 185/60R13 but I know that the 70 profile is going to be around for at least the next 4 years as Yoko have recently signed a contract to supply these as control tyres to the 'Oval' racing fraternity. Also bloody good value at 40ukp per corner (fitted).
