    Anglesey

Just back from the US so thanks to all for grabbing enough garages, from the current forecast looks like they will be needed

    Anglesey

one space for me please Grahame

    ECG Test

Just a quick heads up for anyone who had not noticed that Motorsport UK have added the requirement for a resting ECG for the over 60's holding a national level competition licence Only needed for the years when a medical is due however as even their own approved motorsport medical provider D4D only provides this service at 2 locations both miles from me then it looks like added cost time and hassle Grahame
  4. One pair 4 years old the other 5, tread depth as per new tyre Done maybe 120 sprint miles and 30 road miles replaced with fresh out of the mold ZZS in hope of some extra first run first corner grip £100 plus shipping or collect from Cambs/Suffolk/Essex border
  5. Another garage space now available as I have had to scratch my entry due to continued non arrival of new tow car Hope weather is kind to all of you and you have a great first event of the season Grahame
  6. I will need protection from the spring sunshine so one for me please Grahame
  7. Further excellent work in solving the conundrum of many different specs offered by Caterham over the years, popular modifications to those cars all distilled into 6 or 7 easy to comprehend classes Whilst it clearly does not directly affect me my only question is the choice of 220BHP for the class break. As 210 would cover the current 420 model and many of the R400 type models from the past is there a particular reason for this. I know it is only 10bhp but you know how competitive we all get so if there is not a good reason it just seems to open the door to competitors feeling obliged to upgrade to be competitive Grahame
  8. Geoff It was great to see you back in the paddock and fingers crossed we will see you back in the car next year As you say camararderie and banter peaked with the end of season excitement and it will seem a long winter till it all starts all over again As always thanks to the efforts of Graham and the comp team we have been able to enjoy a great season in what was still a year disrupted for several months Grahame
  9. Another place at the table available from me as well as for some reason Heather has decided that sitting for hours just to buy diesel is not her idea of a weekend away. I will be there and if needed can referee between Phil and Tony as to which is the fastest (at eating desert !) Grahame
  10. Well done I logged in as soon as possible and although box said 8 garages still available by the time I pressed enter they were all gone Grahame
  11. At the risk of over organising this, as there was a veiled warning in the LDMC message about us booking too many garages do we need to agree how many of us will try to book the extra garages that we need? Grahame
  12. Hello Paul 2 for me please Thanks for coordinating this Grahame
  13. I could do with the shelter as well if we end up with enough spaces In the past we were only allocated one garage and any others were booked 'privately' If lucky with the booking then once it is clear that we have enough space then in the past we have 'given' back any excess garages promptly and they have been greatfully received Grahame
  14. I can only echo the sentiments of thanks already expressed by all to Chris (and family) for all the effort that has gone into organising the championship over the past few years and the innovations introduced to make it as inclusive as possible. I do hope that you will now be able to compete and enjoy events without the mantle of coordinator and results taker on your shoulders. It was always difficult to imagine a successor to Chris who could and would give as much time and effort to the role so hopefully by spreading the load between the three of you, Graham Paul and Alan can continue to enjoy the competitive and social side of this great championship. We have been and are now in safe hands and I have every confidence the championship will continue to flourish Thanks to all Grahame
  15. No class 2 is a far greater car control challenge
  16. I also had not really been aware or kept up with the machinations at the top of the L7C, but when guys like Chris (and his team) and Michael Calvert (who recently posted on the subject) who we know, who have given years of service to our club and to whom we owe such a debt are clearly so distressed by the whole situation then there is obviously something very wrong going on. Chris, Matt, Rob and Michael are the absolute epitomy of everything that has been great about our club and our enjoyment from competing in these fabulous little cars is largely on the back of their efforts. So having given so much to us all I can really say is that you have our unerring support and as this situation unfolds if there is anything average members can do to assist in restoring some sense to the situation then I am sure like many you only have to ask. Grahame
  17. Graham Can you pencil me in for a space please Thanks Grahame
  18. Grahame W

    Thank You

Just another message to thank all of our competitors for providing the targets to aim for with friendly chat along the way. Biggest thanks of course go to Chris for all the hours he puts in to ensure we enjoy ourselves, great organisation and great communication are the foundation for great competition leading to a great championship Already looking forward to next year Grahame
  19. I think to be fair to other competitors we ought to give one garage back 7 Caterhams per garage is quite comfy I also have confirmation but am happy to give back if we are sure other 2 bookings are confirmed Grahame
  20. Looks like I've got a garage booking, Chris can you allocate from your reserves list Grahame
  21. Chris My request was for a +1 ie Heather please
  22. Looks a bit like the daily drive of a certain sprinter/garden designer known to most in this parish If it were then probably in this predicament after trying to keep up a Ford Ranger also known around here Unless after his Blyton result the Ranger is still to come into view
  23. Two for me please Thanks for organising Grahame
  24. Justin Looks like there is a link in the in the final entry confirmation, do not know if they have all gone out but got mine as I asked specifically how to get a garage through the LDCC Grahame
  25. Should have known this would crop up over Goodwood weekend. Judging by number of responses guess all places gone if not I'd like one Will try to get another garage through the LDCC lottery as in previous years in which case there would be space for 7 others Grahame
