Have very seriously toyed with painting the car. Before I do so is there anything I can buy to spray the alloy to chase the water of and thus preventing me from having to polish it so often (I love the look but the polishings driving me NUTS!)? Graham! How are you doing? Had been going to get in touch for a while, but had neither a phone no or EMail address for you. Heard you had got shot of the TVR and were back in the land of 7 ownership? Well you will be pleased to know that Roland/Harry is doing just fine! (And looks very good on its minilights and with its new leather seats!) The only thing I have had to do to the car in about 2K miles is a new rocker cover gasket.... a testament to all the work/mods you did. The car delivers every time, feels virtually unburstable and always brings a smile to my face no matter how long or short the journey. Yes I will be on track Thursday night (second track day) at Knockhill. To be honest I had been going to give you a bell beforehand to ask you a couple of questions: 1. What did you used to set the Nitrons at (I have them at softest at the road) on track? 2. What kind of diff oil did you use?! 3. What pressures did you run your 32's at on track? These numbers seem quite substantial considering the smallish surface area involved. I am going to get my car repainted over the winter (fortunately close friend has a body shop so costs will be a lot less). However need a wee bit of advice re exactly how much stripping is best done? Obvious bits include all 4 wings, front and rear lights, screen. Questions: 1. Does all the front suspension need to come off? 2. WHat about the interior panels, just mask up to them or drill all these rivets out, then re-rivet (latter will obviously produce a better finish - but pretty time consuming I guess)? 3. All hood fastners will need drill ed out I guess then re-riveted back in? Also has anyone experience of black painting a standard (read horrible!) ally windscreen suround/stanchions? thanks Finlay THE ONLY SE7EN IN THE HEBRIDES!

Should have also asked. When I got the car the previous owner told me something along the lines of the ACB10's on the front had to be put on with the direction backwards 🤔 🤔 Whats all that about 🤔 THE ONLY SE7EN IN THE HEBRIDES!
