    door hinges

Thanks Gents, I'm confused now though as you have both mentioned different lengths. lol. Are the shorter (10mm) for standard fitments and the longer (15mm) for the Mirror Mount modification? Have you a link to the original question answered by John Aston? How many of each are required, sorry away from my car at the minute and would like to order so I can sort this weekend. :-) Thanks Gregs Edited by - Gregs79 on 17 Jun 2014 08:52:52

Quoting tbird: from when I asked the same question, John Aston's reply Door Hinges (all) Button Head 15mm x 5mm x 0.8 pitch with Nylock Nuts Windscreen to Upright Countersunk 10mm x 5mm x 0.8 pitch. Pedal Box as per Door Hinge got mine from Namrick ifrc hth Tim Edited by - tbird on 30 May 2014 16:41:23 Can you supply a link to them?! :-)
  3. Quoting James.S: Quoting Roger Ford: Quoting Roadracer1977: I'm watching this 51 LED light one on eBay... Get it from Maplin for £11.99 instead. The JJC one may or may not include a resistor - you need to add a 18 or 22 ohm 3W resistor into the circuit with the Maplin one. Yup, same one but without the FIA listing - lol. Square one still looks best though ;) I bought the one from Maplin, seems to be the same! Just need to have my car for long enough to fit it now!!! :-(
  4. Daniel, Fantastic news. I hope you have fun a and look forward to meeting up soon once mine gets sorted! Gregs
  5. If anyone has a set of the above I would very much appreciate a message. Thanks in advance. Gregs
  6. Thanks for the feedback so far all. :-)
  7. Hi, Further to my initial running in of my Caterham, I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on brake pads for my car which has the AP 4 pot calipers at the front with an uprated master cylinder and standard rear calipers? This is something I have done in the past with other vehicles and I have found great results. I am just wondering if anyone has personal experience on the matter? Should I just stick with the standard ones? I have read good things about the Mintex 1144, but not with the brake setup I have. Thanks in advance for any info. Gregs79
  8. Happy Days! I wonder what you will be doing this weekend then! :-)
  9. I am interested in one of these too. :-)
  10. Andrew, I have been out in mine again today and found that everything the indicator is switched on the speedo bounces un and down in time with the flashes, so don't think mine is a sensor issue. The car has also died twice now changing between first and second gear, having to restart whilst coasting! That said it said I have filled the car up 3 times and only done 180 miles according to the speedo!! I have done significantly more than that! :-( Gregs
  11. Quoting AndrewB: After a lovely first day blast yesterday it appears I have a dodgy / broken sensor or speedo. Andrew, Same has happened on mine on my first drive out on Friday. Also noticed on return from Caterham that the reversing light isn't working! Slightly concerned reading posts about shorting out, as my while dashboard was replaced! Gregs
  12. I wonder if some OK me might be able to suggest some old quality wheel nuts and model number?! I know the wheels are a Ford offset, but are the wheel nuts ford threads as well?
  13. My reg number has been provided to Caterham and the car is being delivered tomorrow! :-) It's a shame the weekend is forecast to be so bad! :-(
  14. Interested in the tyre rack, but wonder if it will end up the same as you and not get used! I am waiting to get my car back, but it has a current FIA crossed bar on it. Not sure if it is tall or not?!
  15. Quoting Gregs79: Quoting Ivaan: I cut up one of those thin camping mattresses so it push fits into each of the panel sections and lines the boot floor. It protects the boot panels from stuff rolling around inside and is easy to remove. Clive Ivan, great idea, it would give more padding than carpet. Thanks.

  17. Hi, I am looking for the vertical parts of carpet to go around my freshly built Caterham to protect the out from the odd small ding. If anyone has any that they are not using or anyone has a template so that I can create them before my car arrives back it would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Gregs79
  18. Might be interested in the Anthracite CXR wheels please?! Will they fit the Supersport R?! Edited by - Gregs79 on 15 May 2014 19:04:43
  19. Quoting andy_h: Just to let people know there is no cut off date as I can get more batches made as and when required Andy, When are the first batches due to leave you?
  20. Quoting Jonathan Kay: Quoting Gregs79: If its any help, I fitted led side repeaters and I didn't need to fit any resistors or change the relay so yours should be the same. I will be doing the same as you when my car is back and don't expect any issues, just plug and play. Was that with incandescent lamps in the other indicators and LEDs only in the repeaters? Jonathan Yes it was.
