It use to be called the Caterham FB at the factory. I will leave you to decide what that stood for!
Given my parents were married and I’m not rotund… ‘king Brilliant?

although you seem to have much more engine bay space than you get with a K series.

It’s a Sigma in a SV (Superior Version)! -
I used to use the excellent tool tubes that @Jonathan Kay organised as a Bulk Buy years ago but have removed them.
I repositioned the coolant header tank and fitted a Really Useful Box (painted black so invisible-ish… before I realised they can be bought in black!) fixed the the cruciform under the nose one.
The blue handle/clip is just about visible through the grille here:
It contains a reasonably comprehensive selection of tools and bits, inc tyre weld, to prevent the use of my AA membership and credit card which I also always carry!

Excellent help everyone, thank you. I just didn't want to get it wrong and have to remove the roll bar.
Assume you have a standard rollbar…. otherwise, if you’ve a track day one, you won’t be able to get the bolts in as the diagonal will get in the way and *will* have to remove it!

Can anyone recommend a good solid phone holder for the bracket that will suit an iPhone-8, iPhone 13 or both?
They do bespoke cases or stick-on adapters for the phone and a variety of mounts including a wireless charging one as per my photo in the third post of this thread above.

The column switch is replaceable, and there are some helpful notes in the archives.
There’s an ignition switch for sale at the moment…

and I thought mine were cheap
(think circa £40 a piece two years ago from an eBay supplier) 😳 -
Where’re you based Sam? I am sure folks on here will then point you towards a local expert.
As Dave suggests, a re-map could be useful but personally I’d seek advice to discount all the potential cheaply-sorted issues first!

R888R's fit fine under my race stay mounted on 6.5" Revolution race rims

Anyone had any issues swapping from 185/55 ZZS to 185/60 R888R on a 7 with front “race” wing stays?
Online tyre calculator reckons latter is 18mm extra diameter, so 9mm less clearance under the wing.
Think (hope!) there’s sufficient space…

What did you replace them with, Alan? More ZZSs or R888Rs or…?

Did you buy this one? It’s hard to believe that it wouldn’t fit both S3 and SV variants? I have one fitted to my S3.
I have one fitted to my SV!
(well, I think it’s the same!) -
You’re going to hate this… you need to get a bit biblical with the side skin and push it to give you access/clearance to the head of the bolt/nut.
Don’t worry - it’s less industrial (mostly!) hereafter…

My understanding is that the only trip you can legally make prior to registration is to the IVA.
Me too… to a pre-booked IVA test only (and if it fails, direct to a place of repair/correction).

@BigCol may I ask why? Was it only weight saving?
Banner —> Odyssey was (sort of) like-for-like but latter had a better reputation for longevity and being AGM, could be mounted on its side and I think was a tad lighter.
Odyssey —> LiFePO4, yes - weight-saving though neither of the previous batteries had lasted a particularly long time (four and five years respectively from memory) so wasn’t motivated to go back to either.

I replaced my Banner with a PC680 before going LiFePO4…

Minty is more helpful than he is rapid… it’ll be worth the wait.
Ironically, he’s slow because he’s busy as he’s so good!

sorry to resurrect this. are these the "race" stays https://caterhamparts.co.uk/brackets/1910-cycle-wingstay-rh-13-zzs-zzr-tyres.html
yup; on the right hand side, there is a choice of two wing stays:
race/lower, part number: 76102
or
standard/higher: 76104.(based on emails with Caterham when I replaced a damaged wing stay with the wrong one! 🤦🏻♂️)

…basically don't expect the local constabulary (even traffic/RPU) to have any knowledge of the law here at all…
or in my case, the testers themselves; one of my IVA failure points was due to a mis-interpretation of the regs by the tester!
To be fair, he accepted my subsequent email with *my* interpretation!

Is there much work required to put in the low level light and adjusting it accordingly?
I suspect I used a unit similar to this (can’t see far enough back in my eBay purchase history to confirm).
Two wires simply piggy-back onto the gauge with the other two are for the LED which I mounted in line-of-sight on the dashboard. There is a simple potentiometer that adjusts when the LED lights.
-
As above… have modded my gauge with extra resistors to aid accuracy and when my third party low-level light comes on, I can put about 32 litres in. So once lit, I have ~4 litres/30 miles before I get to the unusable bit (~36l of the 41l tank)

I’ve registered my email address on the ”let me know when back in stock” part of the website for the long nose shower cap… is this one of the things that you’re able to order even though it says “out of stock”?
I think Soft Bits are that busy that they make stuff to order and so don’t have stock as such…

I have spare key, a spare immobiliser fob and a spare cut-off all secreted (in different places!) about my 7 in case any go AWOL.
