    you should be able to test the sensors by turning the ignition on (without actually starting the engine) and putting the car into reverse. pass your hand over each sensor in turn and you will hear a faint ticking noise. the silent sensor(or sensors) are at fault. if all are silent the fault probably lies elsewhere.
