  1. Hmmm... my 2005 K Series has all the standard Caterham gauges and I'd be interested in swapping for your Stack dash and wiring so long as it all works? BM me if interested...

    Rust!

Er... whaaaat?? £6.5k to fix a list of mostly minor issues, plus some suspension rectification? If that's a serious quote you need to take it somewhere else.
  3. My Milwaukee is the best battery-operated tyre pump I've ever had. I've had it for 2 years, inflated tyres on every car in our family, my Caterhams, track days, my VW Crafter Camper Van, Toyota Land Cruiser etc and it never misses a beat. Even used it to inflate my Ifor Williams trailer tyres (they require 90 psi each) and it did them just fine.
  4. PENDING Fountain C100 4-wheel/twin axle trailer. 1500 kgs and the perfect size for Caterhams (see pictures). Bed length 330cms (trailer overall length 470cms) Bed width 185 cms (trailer overall width 228cms) Long ramps 190cms Well maintained and recently serviced. Includes: 4 new wheels & tyres (correct trailer 8 ply heavy duty tyres) New brakes New Bowden cable Recent Jockey Wheel Tows extremely smoothly and it's very stable - better than my Brian James Minno in fact. All electrics, brakes etc in perfect working order. £1,499 located near Horsham, West Sussex
  5. Unfortunately noise restrictions have become tighter at a lot of circuits... 92dB static now at many, with some still at 105dB. Thruxton is just 90dB. 🥴
  6. Yes. It's a hot spot where the wadding is failing. It needs taking apart and renewing, which is easy-peasy. I bought new wadding from Raceco. It comes with the correct wrap for the internal pipe as well as clear instructions.
  7. Ah, ok... I'm afraid that's too tall for my application, sorry.
  8. Is it 18cms tall, or 14cms... as I'm not sure from the picture. And what is the width at the baseplate?
  9. Sell the Sigma and install a Hayabusa(!) 200 bhp+ from standard engine, revs to 11k rpm, you get a free 6-speed sequential gearbox plus you gain the HUGE benefits of lighter weight, lightning-fast turn-in, absurdly short braking distances, much better acceleration, and an exhaust note that puts the biggest grin on your face this side of taking Class A drugs 😆
  10. Yes, I would be making a new backplate in any case. More interested in the airbox itself measurements... height, width, depth, diameter of inlet, that sort of thing.
  11. Julian, Out of interest, how much was this? And what was the cost difference vs getting a custom one made?
  12. Got any more pictures please? And can you send some measurements too (as I'm trying to figure out if this will fit my Hayabusa Caterham Seven...)
  13. Quite the engine! Just out of interest, what are you replacing it with?
  14. Erm... am I missing something? They're £359 brand new following that link....
  15. Yes, but Minilites are not as desirable. I just sold a set of Minilites with Toyo R888Rs with good tread for £250 for the set of 4. However, KN/Caterham 8 spokes routinely go for £400 per set if they're 6", more if it's a set of 6+8". I'm just going by the prices I see them advertised for.
  16. I have a spare set of four 8 spokes in black. Nice and straight, but do have some chips on them. £400 They have CR500s on them with lots of tread but obviously pretty old now. Horsham, West Sussex
  17. A couple of weeks ago someone was selling a PRG Minisporter and said it was used to store their CSR, which is the same size as an SV is it not? The PRG and BJ Minno are very similar in size.. so possibly worth checking.
  18. (SOLD) Set of four 6J Minilites, with Toyo R888R’s in 180/60 x 13 and 205/60 x 13. The wheels are straight, with no cracks and in generally good condition. However, like all rims with diamond-cut edges, the lacquer has started to peel (see pics). The black paint on the wheel centres is good, but the rim edges could do with refurb (yes, it is possible to get just the edges refurbed… most mobile refurbers can do this cheaply) . Tyres are 180/60 x13 (fronts) with 4mm tread, and 205/60 x13 (rears) with 2mm tread. All the tyres are dated 2016, but have been stored in the dark/dry when not on the car and are still very sticky when warm. I used these at Anglesey less than 2 weeks ago. £250 collected near Horsham, West Sussex or can meet anywhere along route to Cadwell Park Tues/Weds 3rd/4th Oct (see pic of my route).
