Can anyone tell me what is the oil capacity of a Cosworth Duratec engine in a CSR 260 once it has been filled up to the top of the flat marking zone on the revised long dipstick?

I have an aero filler cap on my CSR and l am having a lot of trouble with my local Tesco filling station with back spill which runs down the paintwork. I have tried changing the nozzle angle and different speeds of fuel delivery but l still get the same result. Can anyone recommend a filler station which has nozzles which are more sympathetic to the Seven fuel system? I have been using Tesco Momentum 99.

Does anyone have in their records the actual paint chart for 2005? My car is orange but l would like to know the accurate colour description if at all possible.

I recently acquired a CSR 260 which is fitted with 15" Avon CR500 tyres. I will only be using it on roads - (no track use for the foreseeable future). I would appreciate any guidance on front and rear inflation pressures from CSR 260 owners.

I have noticed recently that the oil pressure gauge on my K-Series VVC SV, when at a standstill, the needle sits at 12 o'clock but once moving it languishes on or around the zero marker. Is this standard for this engine?

Having recently had a Powerspeed exhaust system fitted to my SV, I have the Caterham original factory fitted exhaust system up for grabs. The exhaust system is from a Dec 2004 registered K-Series 1.8 160 BHP VVC engined Roadsport SV. It comprises the 4 primaries, the Cat section (+ heatshield) and the back box (+heatshield). Mileage - 30K Good Condition. Held on reserve for club member. £300.00 or nearest offer. Buyer collects. Ealing, West London -
Mine measures 880mm too but it does not give the same performance as Ian's.

I visited PGM today and on the return journey on the M25 the passenger door blew in like Revilla's. I was doing a healthy speed in a crosswind. The driver's side was ok because l was in the way (driver's elbow resistance)! Does anybody manufacture a carbon fibre sidescreen for an SV?

We have experienced the sidescreens bowing in a bit on windy motorway trips. Just push our elbows out - the height of technology!

According to CC, the 25 x 6mm strip is for the Fuel Tank Straps.

Looking at my engine bay this evening, l noticed there was no foam strip running along the sides of the engine bay to cushion the vibration effect of the bonnet. The strip across the scuttle isn't too bad but the nose cone area is in poor condition. To be frank, it is a bit of a mess and needs re-doing. Having had a look at the Caterham parts website and they list 3 types: 12×3mm SKU: 76903 25×3mm SKU: 76904 25×6mm SKU: 76907 Can anyone tell me which one goes where?

Thinking of removing the sidescreen mirrors which shake about under speed for stanchion-mounted wing mirrors. Is there a popular and practical upgrade model out there that anyone would recommend?
