Hi is there provision for fuel at Hethel or is it a dash into Wymondham for fuel which is a real pain. -
It seems the motorcyclists among us including me, feel wearing a lid when driving enthusiastically with aero screen is perfectly normal and second nature . Why do the some people think “ it gives the wrong impression” as someone said to me the other day who had never ridden .

Cosworth will recommend an oil change after 1000 track miles on the Duratec.

There is an alternative as I looked into this when fitting my floor over Xmas , a small rivet gun that fits into the chuck of a cordless drill , check out the videos on you tube , can’t remember the name but google rivet gun for cordless drill and you’ll get the idea.

Hi, a bit off topic but I want to sell my Giant Propel carbon frame/fork road bike. It’s 3 years old and has Ultegra group set except brake calipers as these are Giant aero calipers, Mavic Cosmic carbon rims etc. Bike is in great condition and is size Medium/Large and ready to ride. Also have Elite workstand,Elite E motion rollers, Garmin 510 Edge team edition wireless computer. Price for bike alone £1500 Other stuff negotiable.pm me for pics and any other details. Gav.

IPA is just as good as Acetone ,just make sure all old adheasive is removed ,surfaces abraded and then wiped over with Acetone or IPA.

Sika 292 is the strongest available ,once it’s on and you have done all the prep correctly it a bugger to remove.

up for sale is a full set of EVO Mags form issue 1 (Nov 98) to Issue 169 (May12) ,also included are the special editions which were released alongside the monthly mag including Lotus Legends,Supercars,EVO Photo,supercar Year etc. Make me a sensible offer and buyer will have to collect as this lot is a tad heavy.Located near Norwich. I managed to do this and found the best way was to remove the seat and lay on my back with legs over the roll bar and squeeze into the footwell with correct tools and a torch!

Those are the tyre sizes I have in mind , I have a nice fresh set of ZZR’s waiting on my wheel rack , what seven are they fitted to?

Yes the MB mags are a viable alternative but of course these will need more tlc in regard to regular crack testing and painting.

After buying my R500 D last year I fitted a de cat pipe straight away and to be honest I cannot tell if it gives more power but hey I don’t think it really is necessary on this car . The noise is a little more deep and the enhanced overrun is louder and as someone else said at night a very quick burst of flame.No odours with the pipe and the engine runs just fine. In the process of polishing up the whole system and fitting the cat again ready for MOT Time.

So, have been looking into buying a new set of wheels for the chariot and have noticed Westermann MOG Racing in Germany offer a set of BBS 13” split rim which look absolutely amazing but the price is 3500 Euro ! Why 3 times the price of a regular set ? I know they are forged alloy centres but wow. Any advise from owners out there. Gav.
