    Reversing

I've just fitted some Spa convex mirrors on Eccles mounts and they're so much better.
  3. Where was it spotted? I know who's it is.
  4. On a 7, it can't make the aero any worse.
  5. You can get a universal rear diffuser from Kit Car Direct like this...
  6. That's ok, luckily you can buy just the Spa mounts which screw onto the end of the stem. All sorted. :)
  7. Just so people know, these don't fit the Motamec mirror mounts, even though they look the same. Don't ask me how I know.
  8. Just fitted mine from the 'limited run' and the quality of these is superb.
  9. I got mine from here mirror glass Perfect fit. Think I've still got some spares.
  10. Just replaced the exhaust guards and jubilee clips on my Sigma, got everything from Chris Mintoft, Redline Components sales@redlinecomponents.co.uk
  11. Re #35: That's the article I was looking for yesterday but couldn't find it.
  12. Interesting comment from Doug; can be thrown into all directions by the reflector However, tests in a real world situation have proved this wrong. The reason why some led headlight bulbs work and others don't is because the lens pattern produced by the reflector or lens relies on where the light source originates. Providing this light source remains the same, the beam pattern will remain the same. I think explains it better.
  13. Agreed Jonathan, but if it's not "sold into the EU" does it still have to comply? That could be a grey area could it not. As Dickens said, "the law is an ass"
  14. There are two types of E/e mark. 1. The e-mark is an EU mark for approved vehicles and vehicle components sold into the EU. 2. The E-mark is a United Nations mark for approved vehicles and vehicle components sold into the EU. As we've now left the EU surely this is now irrelevant in the UK and we don't have to comply?
  15. Hi Dave, Welcome to the madhouse! I'm also based in Guildford and have had my Caterham, an SV 150, just over a year, although I've competed in motorsport, at a local level. I've wanted one since first watching The Prisoner way back when. If anybody wants to meet up for a blat and a pub lunch at the weekends (weather permitting), just give me a shout, I may just be able to make it.
  16. Hi Jonathan, If you're referring to swapping the buckles, I swapped the buckle over on the one I got off you. It's fairly easy. PM'd you
  17. Interesting scores between the Uniroyal RainExpert and the Continental EcoContact
  18. They do list the EcoContact 6 in 185/60/14 here Thats a summer tyre.
  19. From what I've heard, Rainsport are for the larger high end sports cars and suv's. Also I don't think they're available in 13"/14" sizes.
  20. "suitable for light weight cars?" All I can say is that I find that they work very well in all conditions and I know several other 7 owners that also run them.
