  2. This is by way of a test the water but I may well have my 140 Sigma engine up for sale shortly. Originally this was a 125 bhp engine fitted in 2015 to an S3 roadsport, but was upgraded by Caterham to 140 Supersport spec with new cams, ECU and air box at 2646 miles in August 2016. Since then it has done an additional 1000 miles so currently has approximately 3500 miles.

This will include the ECU, all major ancillaries and will basically be a drop it in and go option. There may even be an option to have it fitted by a well known company at a small additional cost.

So, I am looking to gauge interest in this at a price of £2500.

  3. Just had a phone conversation with Stuart at Premier Power. Top bloke. Couple of very interesting options; I just need to do the man maths and convince SWMBO. Apparently one way round it is if Stuart doesn't put the stickers on..she'll never know! So tempting!!!

  4. Does have some useful bits in it... Oil types, plugs, jacking points, fuse positions etc which can be difficult to find quickly elsewhere. I would recommend it but then my mechanical know how could be summarised on a post it note.

  5. Posts like this about PP are going to cost me thousands! I've been mulling over this exact upgrade for some time and everything I read is really positive. What engine do you run at the moment OliW and how does the F175 compare?

4 x Yoko Advan AD08 tyres size 195/50 R15 in very good condition. Some track use. No cuts or cord exposed. Over 4mm tread all round. Perfect for track days. Collect from Papworth near Huntingdon Cambs. Ps I have no idea why the pictures are always upside down.?

Taking up space in my garage and annoying SWMBO, so free to anyone who wants them before they go to the tyre depot.

  7. I've searched high and low for the answer to this one with little luck. What is the difference between sport or R spec and Roadsport or S spec suspension? As far as I can tell it is a rear ARB, adjustable ride height collars and wide track wish bones. Is there no difference to dampers or spring rates as seems to be the case?

The reason I ask is I have upgraded my roadsport with an ARB and adjustable collars already and had looked at the sports suspension upgrade as the next step and its seems I have most of it already. If that is indeed the case, is it worth going wide track for predominantly road use?

    Thanks.

    Andy
