  1. Red with aero near Nostell Priory Thursday 15th (yesterday) heading towards Wakefield just before 1700.
  2. Red with aero near Nostell Priory Thursday 15th (yesterday) heading towards Wakefield just before 1700.
  3. Since replacing my gearbox (T9) oil with Redline MTL the shifts are far smoother and slicker (normal road use).
  4. Spotted yellow W189... parked up on Blyth Road earlier part of this week by the house being refurbished
  5. Red approaching the traffic lights by The Dome in Doncaster yesterday just before midday. I was on the pavement, gave you a wave, don't think you saw me.
  6. Duncan, Excellent description and photos. Could I just add that some Roadsport silencers may not require the perforated tube being cut by dremel; on my car (2010 S3) the perforated tube has a swaged connection so does not require cutting.(you should be able to see the swaged connection if you look down the inlet pipe into the silencer).
  7. Could well have been the same one I saw down at Campsall that afternoon, not seen many green ones around here.
  8. Spotted bright green Caterham this afternoon about 12:20 going from Campsall to Askern. Waved but you might not have seen us, walking the dogs across the fields.
  9. Blue and ally travelling through Campsall and Sutton towards Doncaster yesterday about 15:30. Skies were quite grey and dark so you had your full hood up ready.
  10. Probably went through similar thought process/cost comparisons some 12 months ago with my 125; initially thought that the 155 would give me suitable/adequate increase. In the end, went for the 175 (and laminova oil cooler). Delighted to say still happy with the 175 - more than enough 'go' for me, with perfect manners and starts first time.
  11. That's them. I've seen others use various clamps on the lower tube but for me using the flexible jaws and gooseneck means that I can position the sat nav where I want while the tunnel takes the main 'weight' to give stability. Sean
  12. I use the following, both sourced from Amazon (electronics and photo). These allow me to mount the sat nav resting on the tunnel top in front of the gear lever with the screen fairly well shielded from the sun (previous to this I used to mount the sat nav via sucker to the dash - at times the screen was badly affected by glare and the sucker occasionally fell off). I locate the clamp around the key cylinder and then the goose neck allows me to pull the sat nav forward when required or to be pushed further back under the dash. Excess cabling is bundled up behind the sat nav with a cable wrap. H&S Smartphone tripod mount universal clamp holder Smatree flexible clamp mount and gooseneck extension
  13. Oxted Thundersport black mohair half hood bought new in 2016. Cut for S3 metric car with standard roll bar. Hood has been lightly used and is in as new condition. £150 incl UK p&p.
  14. Jonathan, 2 x canisters and 1 x black roll please. Many thanks, Sean
  15. I was pondering this approach as well but then someone posted an alternative solution, which appears better (I have not yet installed this myself). There is now a blog........Gearbox oil filler / dipstick modification. Might be a better solution all round.
  16. Waved and acknowledged the dark blue two up entering Bamford on Monday afternoon at about 1600. Black F175 two up going the otherway. The weather was so good even persuaded my wife to try the car without any doors - far cooler.
  17. Passed and acknowledged your wave (twice). Nice day for a drive, we had been to Wentworth Gardens. Hope you enjoyed yourself.
  18. Travelling along the A659 from Pool towards Harewood House midday today. You looked like you were thoroughly enjoying yourself.
  19. Red two up coming from the Campsall area approaching the junction with the A1. We were in the black roadsport returning from the Blyton Park trackday.
  20. Finally, after having to postpone two previous dates, I got to drive the F200. What can I say - except - wow I want one. What a car - obviously 200 bhp in a Caterham is very useful - but how smooth, how consistent, what performance and can be driven from very low revs in any gear to full throttle acceleration - and what fast/instant response. Sounds lovely as well. No delay noted in any of the gears and very tractable even when stuck in slow traffic. And as for Stuart Cresswell, what a knowledgeable, informative chap - fantastic looking finished engines and judging by the engines in the workshop and workshop conditions a first class engine builder. Unfortunately, I think that the F200 is beyond my means and I will have to focus on accruing funds for an F175 upgrade - all donations gratefully accepted.
  21. White aeroscreen two up coming down the hill past Campsall village hall 11:00 this morning. We were in the black golf going up the hill - not sure if you saw me wave
  22. Rich, Yes my first seven as well and someone did say to me about the visibility of 'black'. I had thought about stripes and/or wrapping some panels - however - not experienced any problems, Apart from of course the 'muppets' who insist on pulling out in front of you or overtake on the approach to a narrow slip road - despite the fact that I always drive with headlights on. Regardless of your colour preference (and not sure how much you know about Caterhams) but if you want to come over and have a look while the cars up on axle stands so you can see all the important bits give me a shout. b/w Sean
  23. Richard, I have a 2010 Roadsport 125 (1600 cc) 8500 miles. Black with winter gear. Currently up on axle stands - just had the wheels powder coated, going to do winter checks and some (minor) repairs. You are welcome to come and have a chat (Campsall near Doncaster) just off the A1 Sean
  24. Looking for a RE boot bag in decent/good condition. S3 metric track day bar Cheers
